✈️ Chapter 23 ✈️

Day after day Jungkook passed without the slightest stop thinking about Jin's whereabouts. He couldn't contact Jin again after his transfer to another airline, but when he found out Jin left the airline Jungkook's heart broke even more, where else would he have to find out about Jin if all he knows is the number he's been calling, but that number no longer registered.

Rosie is 3 years old now, grown up and talkative, she has grown up to be a sweet child like her mother. Jungkook is also still active as a pilot. He almost never even takes a day off, all he does is work and work, spending more time out there than at home with his family.

For Jieun this is nothing new but for Rosie, of course this is something that makes her sad, she only plays with her mother at home and always asks why her father is rarely home with her but her mother always says the same thing and explains that her father works.

That night, Jungkook came home very tired, he had a lot on his mind. His heart and mind seemed to be at war to find a way out.

Jieun, who was in the kitchen at that time, heard the sound of the door opening, a sign that her husband had come home. She immediately wiped her wet hands and ran to her husband but she saw his husband's gloomy face.

"What is it?" Jieun approached her husband.

"Nothing" Jungkook's unusual tone of course made Jieun wonder.

"Have you eaten? I will warm the food for you or do you want to take a shower--" Jungkook just walked past his wife, Jungkook's action made Jieun feel neglected, the Jungkook she knew was not that kind of person.

But she restrained himself and got Jungkook a glass of water, he must be really tired.

"Jungkook, have a drink first, you must be tired"

"Thanks" Jieun frowned and sat next to her husband, she massaged Jungkook's shoulders, trying to ignore Jungkook's attitude towards her.

"Jieun.." Jungkook turned to Jieun who looked at him first.

"Aren't you tired?"

"What do you mean by your question? Of course I'm not tired, if you mean taking care of Rosie and--"

"That's not it, aren't you tired of waiting for me to come back?" Jieun's eyes widened at the question, Jungkook had never asked this before and hearing it like that felt strange to Jieun.

"I'm tired Jieun, honestly I'm tired like this" Jungkook lowered his head and cried, Jieun felt that there was something Jungkook was hiding from him, his heart ached at that time, even though he didn't know what made Jungkook tired. She hugged her husband from the side.

"If you are tired you can rest, but never go, just rest, I will stay here with Rosie waiting for you"

Jungkook's tears flowed harder, he felt very guilty for Jieun, a woman as good as her should get a man who is much better than Jungkook. Who loves her wholeheartedly without sharing his love with others. That's how Jungkook felt before he met Jin. Only Jieun filled his heart, even he was willing to give his life for his first love. But all that changes when he meets Jin. He was also angry with himself, how could his heart decide so quickly, love someone he just met.

"Is he one of the crew on your airline?" Jungkook nodded.

"What's his name?"

"He knows about me and Rosie?"

"ENOUGH! Forget him Jeon Jungkook, if he loves you he will not leave you, he will be here, sticking with you no matter what happens like me and Rosie! And if you want me to regret what he did to your children, I'm sorry but it's not my fault or it's your fault, he decides on his own knowingly, that means he doesn't want you! He could have used that kid as an excuse to snatch you from me, but instead he killed it. Just look at me just this once Jungkook, come back to me and Rosie, forget him! You guys are over!"

"You don't know him, and we are not ever, never" Jungkook passed his wife and left, he left the house and left Jieun crying in her room alone.
