Chapter 11 (No regrets)

Top's POV

My eyes slowly opened and I realized I was in an unfamiliar place. I got up and had no idea who's place I was. When I opened the door to the living room, I felt my heart drop. I was shocked and confused. I felt my body weakened after seeing Yeji. She was sleeping on the couch.

"I'm sorry, I never meant to show up." I whispered to her from afar

I was thinking of leaving and just disappear. I wrote a note on her desk that says

"I never meant to interfere with your life again, it just happened we met again. I never expected we could ever see each other again. Thank you, for letting me stay in your place, and sorry for bothering your night, I'll be on my way."-Lucius

I left the note on her desk. Before leaving, I looked at her once more and felt my heart ache. It was painful every second I looked at her. I smiled and left peacefully. I looked at her apartment for the last time and left. While I was walking, I couldn't help but think about what happened last night and how I ended up in her apartment, out of all the people in London.

Yeji's POV

I woke up from the blazing sun. I got up and remembered what happened last night. I stood up and walked slowly towards my bedroom door. I stopped for a moment before opening it slowly. When the door was fully opened, there was no one inside. I was shocked and thought I might be dreaming. I looked around but he was nowhere to be found. I noticed a paper on my desk. I read and it was a note. After reading his note, I didn't know what to feel or what to think. He just disappeared like nothing happened. The whole day my mind was absent, I had questions that needed answers. Maybe he already left London, he said that he never meant to interfere with my life, so he was in London for other reasons. I was just drinking coffee at a local cafe and still couldn't believe I saw him again. He just disappeared from me like nothing. Hwang Yeji, stop thinking about it. The whole day, I distracted myself and just studied for my finals. while I was studying at the café, I fell asleep. A staff woke me up and told me that they were about to close. so I got up and looked for a place where I could eat. I stopped by at a food truck and got myself some burgers and fries. It was 8pm so there were still people at the park. I sat down and watched people enjoy themselves with their loved ones. For some reason, I envied them.
While I was enjoying my burger, someone caught my attention. It was Lucius, he was sitting alone across the park, he was drinking a coffee. I looked at him and everything around me vanished. He slowly turned his head and our eyes met. We stared at each other like as if we were the only ones in the park. He stood up and step by step walked towards me. I didn't know what to feel or do. He kept his eyes on me while walking towards me. He was just few steps away, all of a sudden someone covered my eyes.

"hey beautiful"

From the voice, I knew it was Mingyu. I looked at him and he was smiling at me

"M-Mingyu, hey"

"aren't you happy to see me?"-Mingyu

I looked at Lucius only to find him walking away

"hey, you there?"-Mingyu

"Mingyu, wait here" I said in hurry while I chased Lucius

I left Mingyu and tried chasing Lucius but I couldn't find him. I looked around and he was nowhere to be found. I got teary eyed and looked down to wipe it off.

"why are you crying?" A male voice

I looked behind me and there I saw Lucius, standing in front of me. It was only the two of us standing underneath the tree. I just stood there and he moved closer to me.

"why"
