Sam's POV
"Go ahead Sam, you can push the doorbell." said Cara excitingly.
I hesitantly pushed the future changing doorbell. A short tune played inside the house. Suddenly the door swung open and a young girl about the age of 5 was revealed.
"Mommy, two strangers are at the door!" she yelled. A woman in her mid 30s appeared behind the child.
"Oh, you must be Cara and Sam. Richard's kids. I'm Carla." the lady stuck her hand out for me to shake it. Hesitantly I did. We slowly made our way inside and were immediately mesmerized by the sight.
The inside of the mansion-like home amazed me. A gigantic, crystal, shiny chandelier decorated the roof; a grand staircase welcome you into the magnificent place.

Cara's POV
Carla graciously welcomed us and quickly showed us to our rooms which were upstairs and across from each other. I started unpacking when my phone buzzed.
Mom💩: where r u
Mom💩: come back home now
Mom💩:I can find you
I quickly blocked her number and stuffed my phone back into my pocket.
Suddenly someone knocks on the door.
"It's open." I said as a response. Conner appears from behind the door.
"Soooo, this is your new house?" He asked sheepishly.
There's a long pause until I finally break the silence.
"Yeah, I guess."
"Y'need any help?" He said.
"What do you think?" Gesturing to the piles of stuff on the floor. Conner chuckled as he started arranging things on the desk in the corner, I on the other hand tackled the closet issue. My closet was around on the other side of the wall. As I made the slow trip around the corner I found that I now owned a huge walk in closet. Slowly I started putting away my clothes on multiple hangers and shelves.
