assorted plants make their way in the yard
black rabbits prancing along though not far

the tasting of fresh honey sweetly on my tongue
and savorous flowers blooming bright before long

willow trees dancing slowly with their branches
their sidewalks plastered with homes and ant hills

the playground screeches against a game of ball
dandelions and tulip beds of many colors that fall

a speckled wren dips its head to fresh cut grass
drying weeds and lavender blossoms smoking ash

all these darkened clouds rolling by loftily in the sky
free-lanced and forlorn; her afternoon rain is but nigh
