I don't know who to say it
how to tell you

how to paint you a picture

paint it with passion so new

I don't know how to yell without screaming your name
I don't know how to show them unless I care for you first

I can't explain it

this feeling
developing

softly, tenderly
with ferocity

the pain of watching you smile

the pain as i keep it from you

a burning passion in whole
it aggravates the soul

these unsaid words
these faithful hurts

i love you

more than flowers love the sun
more than trees need the air

more than fast food comes
and my heart stains with care

i love you more than tears can fall
i love you more than mothers call

i love you like the stars follow tune
i love you like the tide needs the moon

i can't describe this feeling,
but i can tell you:

"i love you."
