The night was getting a lot more lit and the boys were having a laugh. I honestly wanna tell Sapp that ceecee is a boy but Dave said I can't because this is his get back. I got up going towards the bathroom. I texted Dave and told him to meet me in there. By the time I got there he had followed suit and walked in locking the door. I could see Dave giving me a look and I just laughed at him. He be clueless too. I gotta text his ass out hell never get the 411. The man be lala land sometimes.

Dave gave me the day off since there wasn't much to do today, so I decided to spend some time with my mother. Being around her is always a breath of fresh air. You would think she's younger than me with the way she keeps a roster. Ever since dad died it's been hard on her to find that love again. I know there's someone out there for her she just hasn't found him yet. I might set her up on a date.

"So who is this mystery man that you are seeing? I would think that you would at least tell your own mother about her."

"Girl don't play dumb. Tina showed me a picture of you and wizard Kelly. Wish I could've seen the face though." I laughed hearing her say that face is wizard Kelly

"That is Dave... my boss." I said lowkey hoping she didn't hear that last part

"Excuse me. Did you say your boss? Ni Ni you know that's a conflict of interest. You are in a professional setting and if you even show any signs of you two dealing with each other it could get messy. I'm sure you both know that. Imagine what people would say if they found out. Someone probably already saw you two out on a date"

"Mommy I don't have time for this. Just be happy for me. I really like him and he makes me happy. That's all that matters. And I know how to separate work from home."

"I am happy for you but I just want you to think about the ifs and what could happen."

I never really thought about the what ifs but I have this under control. Me and Dave will be fine. Them people can't tell us nothing about our relationship. I know how to work around any situation. We have this under control. We will be just fine.

"I have thought about it. I know the risk and I know how to handle it all. We know how to keep it professional in the work place. Just have faith in me mommy."

I continued helping her cook the food hoping she would let this conversation go about me dating my boss. All I wanted to do was spend time with her and catch up on she is doing. Since kacy and Adam aren't here right now, I get her to myself. I would like to see my brother and sister though. They are always trying to grow up before their time.
