Chapter - 10

Kim's Pov

" Sir these are the pictures we got",

I was going through the pictures.
I could see Vegas sitting with someone.
That someone was completely dressed in black .
I looked through more pictures to see face of that person.

It was Pete?

Half of his face was covered because of the cap but I could still tell it was him . I could recognise him by his silhouette.

What was Pete doing with him in a cafe ?

I'll really kill Vegas!!!

But first I need to talk to Pete.

Is he betraying us??!

I asked someone to call him but he wasn't at home .

He is making it more obvious.

I was waiting for him at the entrance of our house .

Pete came in with my brother Kinn.

What's even going on??!

He was wearing a white tshirt and black pants.

" Pete were where you?",

" I was with khun kinn", he said calmly.

" What's wrong Kim?" Kinn asked.

I chose to ignore his question . I was loosing it. He was on a date with Vegas , then how he could be with my brother.

"Weren't you with Vegas?",
I couldn't control, afterall I liked Pete.
Seeing him with the person, I hated the most made me loose all my senses.

" No, Khun Kim, I was with Khun Kinn the entire time",

" Yes Kim , we had a secret meeting with one of our potential investors at a restaurant to avoid suspicion.
Pete disguised himself in causal clothes to keep an eye from close.
But why are you asking about Vegas?",

Is Kinn lying too? Or am just going crazy .

I left without saying anything. I can't deal with all this right now . I need to keep my calm to analyse things better.

Kinn's Pov

"That just proved your other point Pete", I said smiling at him.

We wanted to confirm whatever Kim was doing was actually related to Vegas..

And Kim confirmed it himself.

Pete just smiled back.

When Pete told me about his plan of going out with Vegas . I was surprised but I went with his plan anyway.
After leaving the cafe, Pete took a cab and met me in a restaurant.
Pete was already wearing white tshirt under his sweatshirt.

He agreed on letting Vegas pick him from main family's mansion to make it look more genuine.

All the CCTV footage of that time is removed by Arm and is replaced by normal footage.
Only few of my trusted guards were there when Pete left.

Even though Kim is aware it was Pete ,he cannot confirm it .

Both Kim and Vegas are under his control right now.
Pete really knows how to deal with sociopaths.

" You should go and rest now" I told him.

He nodded and left .

I chose the right person for this mission.

Finally it's first day of my college.
I can't wait for this phase of my life to start.
Entering the university's gate felt so liberating .
