Three weeks later

Leah groans in pain as she sits up in bed, her hand falling to her stomach. Rosalie was out with the family hunting and wouldn't be back for another hour or two. She gritted her teeth as the pain seemed to get worse. "Jacob!"

Not even a minute later, Jacob appeared, a worried look on his face. "What is it? What's wrong?" he asks worriedly.

"It hurts." Leah cried.

"What hurts, do you need me to send Seth for Rosalie?" Jacob asks, his worry growing.

Leah looks up at him, tears filling her eyes. "The baby, it's coming!"

"Okay, we need Carlisle. I'll send Seth to go get him." Jacob said, rushing out of the room.

Leah clenches her jaw, her hand on her stomach.

Jacob returned a few moments later. "Seth went to get them, what do you need? What can I do for you?" he asks, moving over to her side.

Leah groans softly and looks up at him. "Get me to the infirmary."

Jacob nodded, lifting Leah from the bed and making his way to the infirmary.

Barely even a second later, Rosalie appears with Carlisle and Esme.

Rosalie rushed to Leah's side in a blur of blonde hair.

"Rose," Leah breathes out, reaching for her.

Rosalie took Leah's hand in her own.

The wolf instantly grips her hand, groaning as another contraction starts.

Rosalie ran her fingers through Leah's hair.

Carlisle quickly gets to work on checking Leah over.

Rosalie watched Carlisle.

"Okay Leah, let's get you changed into a gown." The older vampire says after a moment.

Leah nodded slowly.

Carlisle leaves the room with Jacob while Rosalie and Esme work to get Leah into a gown.

Rosalie helped Leah into a gown, looking worried, before telling Carlisle they could return.

Leah groans softly as she leans back on the bed.

Rosalie took Leah's hand again.

Carlisle and Jacob make their way into the room. Jacob moving to Leah's other side and taking her hand.

Rosalie looked at him and frowned.

Leah just grips both of their hands, gritting her teeth as another contraction rips through her.

Rosalie leaned down and pressed her face gently against the side of Leah's head, whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

"It's time to push." Carlisle says, looking up at Leah. "I need you to push during your next contraction."

Leah nods her head, fighting back a scream as the next contraction starts. Taking a deep breath, she begins to push.

Rosalie gripped Leah's hand gently.

"That's it, keep pushing." Carlisle says softly.

Leah gripped Rosalie's hand so tight that she might have broken a human's hand.

"You're doing so good." Rosalie whispers in her ear.

Leah kept pushing. She pushed for about fifteen minutes before the first cry was heard.

"It's a girl!" Esme exclaims as she gently wraps the baby in a blanket.

"A girl." Rosalie whispered.

Carlisle frowns as he checks Leah over. "There's another baby." he says after a moment.
