Leah groaned softly as she fully woke up, her body seemed to be fully healed now. However her bones still ached. She sat up slightly and caught sight of Rosalie out the window, standing on the porch watching some birds fly around the sky.

Getting up, she makes her way down the stairs of the Cullen house and toward the front door.

"Hey, Leah, how are you feeling?" Jacob asked.

Turning to face him, Leah smiled weakly. "I'm okay, my body just aches a bit."

Jacob smiled. "I'm glad you're okay."

The brunette turns her attention back toward the porch. "How long has she been out there?"

"Um, most of the morning." Jacob said. "She was out there before I got up."

Biting her lip, Leah tried to decide on whether or not she should go out there.

"She's still trying to wrap her head around the imprinting thing." Jacob said.

The brunette looked down at her hands. "She's going to reject it."

"You don't know that." Jacob said.

"Oh come on, look at me Jake. I'm a wolf and she's a vampire. She's not going to want anything to do with me. Nobody ever does." Leah mumbled just as a gust of wind blew into the house.

"She might surprise you." Jacob said.

Leah goes to turn around only to almost walk into Rosalie.

"Hello." Rosalie said.

Clearing her throat, Leah stepped back slightly. "Hi."

"How do you feel?" Rosalie asked.

Leah tilts her head to the side. "Don't you have like super hearing?"

"Only when I want to use it." Rosalie said.

Nodding her head, Leah shifts. "I'm feeling fine, my body just aches a bit." She admits to the vampire.

"Carlisle said you'd be better soon." Rosalie said.

Leah shifted slightly. "Wolf, fast healing." She responded with a shrug. "Unlike a human, I don't get hurt that easily."

Rosalie nodded.

Taking a deep breath, Leah looked around, realizing now it was just her and Rosalie in the room. "How are you?"

"I'm fine." Rosalie said.

"That's good." Leah says softly.

Rosalie nodded.

Leah became awkward as she tried to come up with something else to talk about.

Rosalie cleared her throat.

"Um, I should go." Leah said after a moment, taking a step away from Rosalie.

Rosalie caught her arm gently. "I'm really glad you're okay."

Closing her eyes, Leah relished in her touch for a moment before fully stepping away. "Me too."

Rosalie offered her a small smile.

The wolf smiles back before making her way to the front door.

Rosalie watched her. "Go after her." She hears Edward mumble from upstairs.

Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"You really should." Jacob says, appearing in the room from the kitchen.

"Keep your nose out of business that isn't yours.' Rosalie said coolly.
