"Look I can leave if you want" I sit down on the chair and tap beside me, "sit Chase." He quietly sits and we both say nothing, "I don't hate you." I know that's what he thinks, "I'm not mad at you anymore either, it's just hard sometimes to talk to you." He sighs, "yea I know. I should have done something back then and I'm sorry I didn't believe you, I really am."
When I was a freshman in high school one of his friends who was part of the football team kept coming on to me. I told chase and he said I was lying and that his friend would never do that, one night after the football game I was waiting for Chase and his friend dragged me into an empty room and.....well I think you know where this is going.
"Hey I'm sorry, don't cry." I didn't even realize I started crying, "I'm fine Chase." It took me a while to come to forgive him. "Come on" I open my hands up and pull him in for a hug, "I missed you Chase."
"I missed you too" we talk for awhile and to be honest I wish I did this earlier.

"How did it go" I get surprised a little bit to Jace's voice, "it went well, why?" He walks over and hugs me from the back, it sends a shiver down my back. "I was worried" i put my hands over his, "I'm ok. I was gonna go home."
He pulls back and I turn and face him, "let me take you." I softly smile at him "it's ok, plus I need to go shopping."
Hey grabs my hand and smiles, "I'll go with you." I take my hands away, "what is wrong with all of the sudden."
"Nothing I just want to hangout" I can't believe this guy, "it's weird, but fine. Did you finish your work." He laughs and grabs my hand, "yes I did, now let's go."
I grab my bag and we head out, seeing him like this makes me really happy but also kind of surprised. We get to the store and he grabs a cart, "ok so what are we getting."
"Just follow me" I say with a soft laugh, we get everything and he decides to pay for it even though I told him not to. "I still think that I should pay you back."
"No you don't" we drive for a few minutes, "I was going to ask you something." I turn my head, "what?"
"I don't know if it's too fast but....do you want to move in with me."
"Umm..."
"You don't have to" I smile at him even though he can't see me since he's driving, "sure why not but I have a lot of stuff."
"It's ok I'll help you move them."
*********
2 years later, yup it's been two years and this guy has not changed what so ever. They say when you move in with someone that's when you get to see their true colors but he hasn't changed. Me on the other hand, well I've had my breakdowns and failures but that's ok.
"Celina are you even paying attention" I snap out of it, "yea I am, what is it." He sighs and grabs his keys, "I want to take you somewhere."
We drive for a few minutes and hen he makes me wear a blindfold, "ok we're here." He leads me out the car and walks with me for about a minute before taking the blindfold off. I look around and there are gorgeous lights around. I turn back and focus on him, he kneels down in-front of me and I don't know what to do.
"Celina, will you marry me" I cover my mouth due to the surprise, "I....oh my gosh, Umm yea. Of-course". He puts the ring in my finger, he gets up and lays a soft peck on my lips. "Ok well I...." I stop him by laying another peck on his lips, "you don't have to do a speech, I know." He wraps his arms around me, "I love you Celina."
I giggle, "I love you too." I pull away and walk over to the picnic, I sit down and grab a grape from the fruit basket. "Celina you have to eat the actual food first before you eat the fruits."
"Grapes are real fruit" he giggles and sits next to me. I never imagined in my whole life that I would meet a guy who makes me feel like this. I was thinking about a few nights ago and I can't help but thank God for His kindness and Mercy. I'm the type of girl that parents tell their sons to stay away from, but I was lucky enough and blessed to have Jace.
"What are you thinking about" I lay my head down on his lap, "nothing. I'm just happy that's all." He strokes my hair, "me too, I'm very happy too."
