Chapter 5

~next day~

I was actually looking forward to school today. I don't know. Maybe because of Austin. I have a funny feeling whenever I'm around him. Ah well. I chose out blue shorts and a sweater with Minnie Mouse one it and I did my regular morning routine.

Austin's POV

That Caitlyn girl. I can't get her out of my mind. She walks into the school like she owns it. Her confidence. Her smile. Her eyes. I think I'm falling her.

( I don't remember the date so let's just say it's Mar. 8, Fri. )

Caitlyn's POV

I walked to my locker and shoved everything in. "Hi Cat!" Austin said behind me. "Hi. I'm late for class I gotta go." I walked to my class and sat down.

Bzzz.

I quickly check my phone.

Austin: hey u bored?

Me: hell yea.

Austin: Lindsay and Stephanie r so annoying.

Me: I got caught txting. I'm off 2 detention.

Austin: wow. Ditto. Meet ya there.

I walked through the empty hallways. When I got in the class, I saw Austin sitting at a desk. I sat down beside him.

"Hey. Thanks for getting me in detention." I said to him. "Oh yea that was COMPLETELY my fault." He said and rolled his eyes. "Why yes, it was." I said and smirked.

"It's almost spring break and my family usually brings me to their little cottage. Wanna come?" He said jumping around.

"QUIET. THIS IS DETENTION." The teacher there said.

"I would love to come. When do you guys leave?" I asked. I really hope m mom would let me go. "We go on this Saturday and leave on Monday." He said.

"Sure. I'll just have to ask my mom." I said. "YAY! WE'LL HAVE SO MUCH FUN!" Austin shouted.

"I SAID QUIET." The teacher said. We both snickered. "Umm. Miss? I think they have donuts in the teachers lounge." I said. "Yea, I saw donuts on the way here." "Well. I'll go get some don't move." She said and walked away.

Austin and I quickly ran out. Since it's still the morning, me and Austin just decided to ditch the whole day. We both ran out into the field.

"So what do you want to do?" He asked. "I want a donut for some reason." "Then... Lets go to Starbucks!" He said and ran. "Umm. Austin? Other way." I said and pointed to the opposite direction.

When we got there, I ordered a donut and hot chocolate. Austin ordered a frappicino (I don't know how to spell it). We sat down at a small round table.

Suddenly, Austin's phone rang. He looked at it. "Sorry. It's my mom I have to answer it." He said and walked away.

Austin POV

It really wasn't my mom. It was my ex-girlfriend. I didn't wanna make it awkward between me and Cat. I answered the phone.

"What do you want." I said into the phone. "Oh, I heard you've been hanging with a girl named Caitlyn Monroe." She said with her high pitched voice.

"Holly Smith. I am done with you. Stop calling me." I said and ended the call. I walked back over to Caitlyn. I saw her sparkling blue eyes staring out the window. I admit, I'm completely falling for her. The way her hair ties back like a headband, the way she smiles, really, it's everything about her.

Caitlyn POV

"Well, thanks for the drink. See you at school tomorrow!" I said and waved. He waved back and ran up to hug me. "Goodbye Cat." I just laughed and walked out the door.

When we hugged, I felt a spark. Actually, I feel every time he touches me. I think I'm really falling for him. But I know, he'll never love me. Oh well. It'll just be my wish for him to fall for me.
