< Chapter Twelve >

Eda rushes out the the door in distress.

"Eda wait!"

You yell at her while getting up, grabbing Owlbert and rushing in her same foot prints. you sprint out the door seeing Eda running into the woods. You run after her as quick as you can, breathing heavily, you push past leaves and avoid bumping into trees. You finally catch up with Eda, Seeing lilith holding Luz by the hood and a guard holding king in a cage. All of them are on an airship, surrounded coven guards.

"This is for you're own good Edalyn. As the Emperor's Orde-"

"GIVE THEM BACK"

You hear the pain in Eda's voice as you see the airship take off.

"EDA, Y/N"

They head towards the Emperors. You begin to panic, trying to think of a way to get to Luz and King in time to save them both. Eda's grip tightens and she lifts her arm to wipe her tears.

"Y/n?".

You look at her, holding owlbert with both hands.

"Yes Eda?"

She extends her arm out and opens her shaky hands .

"Pass me Owlbert, were going to get them."

You do as she says without hesitation and hand her her staff. She gets on it and you do the same, you hold on to her as you gain height. Eda leans down attempting to speed up, all of her focus is on trying to find Luz and King, so you slowly look around trying to spot them to help her out. You see the airship ahead, just about to land, you point it out to Eda and she starts to head in that direction toward them. She looks around for a place to land and sneak in, She ends up finding a ledge round the side that is connected to a window type thing.

Eda lands on the ledge and signals you to get off the staff, her doing the same, Owlbert goes out of staff form and hides in Eda's hair. While your looking down worring about the height shes heading for the window thing, side stepping towards it, Eda looks in to see if there are any guards in the way. Conveniently, There is one standing just infront of the window, guarding it i guess. Eda pulls out a crooked knife and smiles, you grab her hand and look at her shaking your head pulling out a plant glyph. She rolls her eyes but uses the glyph none the less, a vine emerges from the paper, rapping around the guards body, keeping them from speaking and moving . You both go through the window, one at a time, running through the halls trying to find the door that is connected to where the airship had landed and trying not to get caught.

You spot a huge double door named 'LANDING', you both exchange a glance and a nod before running on the red carpet heading for the door. Eda opens it to the point where you can just see through the gap, you both look through the small gap, spotting Luz and King tied up being taken to the door your by. Eda grabs you arm running back for the window you came in, you go first then Eda crawls out as quick as she can, when both of you hear a loud creak, assuming its the door you hide at either side of the window, You hear a faint conversation and decide to listen in.

"Where should we take the human?"

"Just take her to the same place as the demon, the Emperor will deal with them both later, when the Owl Lady appears, running to come save them ."

"Very well"

"LET US GO!"

"silent human."

Eda goes to run back in the hall, you have to grab her and pull her back out so she doesn't blow your cover, however you end up creating a noise making them look. you take a huge gulp before signaling Eda to get Owlbert and fly away from here, she nods a gets on her staff, Eda flys low enough to go below the window, you jump onto the staff and fly towards the near by woods
before being spotted. She lands in a place enclosed by bushes so the guards wont spot you both. You look at her while she puts her staff away.

"What do we do now?"
