!!TW!! mentions of domestic abuse and alcohol.

(Karl's POV)

I felt warm as my eyes fluttered open, the sight of Sapnap hugging me as I woke up made me feel even warmer. I love him so much. He layed sound asleep, and a smile shone across my face. I listened to his soft snoring as blush dusts my cheeks. My smile begins to fade when my eyes wander up to his swollen eye. The purple and blue decorating the area of his eye. I begin to think about my dad, why does he keep doing this stuff over and over again?

But then again, I know the answer to that question, I think I always have. He doesn't think about his actions, he just acts. He couldn't even think if he wanted to, the alcohol does the thinking for him. He has been doing this stuff since I was, like, 2? He drinks until he can't form a single thought, and then he hits.

I'm pulled from the storm of thoughts in my head when Sapnap moves a bit in his sleep. I stare at his light pink lips as he continues to breathe slowly. When my eyes move to his jawline, I can't help but giggle at the fact that he hasn't shaved in a while. I study the light stubble scattered all over his face. From above his lips to his neck, the light brown dots are amazing to look at.

*buzz*

I groan and roll out of the warm embrace of Sapnap to check my phone. Quackity texted me. I open the text.

Oh shit.

I have scho–

We have school!

I jump out of bed and unzip the light purple backpack sitting on the floor. I take out clothes and quickly change before trying to wake up Sapnap. I rub his arm in a poor attempt at waking him up, he simply rolls over again. But then he moves his arms like he is trying to grab something, then I see him slowly open his eyes and sit up.

"Why weren't you still in bed?" He grumbles out, his morning voice making him sound amazing.

"Because we have school." I say and pull him out of bed.

"We are going to be late Sap!"

"My name is Sap now?"

"I don't see why not."

He leans up and kisses me before grabbing clothes and beginning to change for school. Once he is dressed we grab our bags and walk out of his room to his car. Hand in hand.
