🌉 chapter 5

A couple of days had passed since Carl came back, we have talked a couple times but nothing too deep or for too long, only casual small talks. Ron ghosted me for 2 days and between it i saw him flirting with Enid which caught off guard, because although i know that he doesn't have genuine feelings for me, i didn't think tha he would be flirting with others. He's cute face and eventual good manners are making it so hard for me to accept who he really is.

It is early morning, I am feeding Michonne's horse, since she was almost always out it was it was rare to have him Here, so i made sure that whenever she came back from her hunts for the governor, i would be the one to take care of her horse. I have always loved these animals and since everything went down i didn't have any opportunities to interact with them, so i made sure to take any opportunity of doing so.

Carl: Good morning Y/N! *Carl says as he comes walking to me*

Y/N: Hii Carl, good morning!

Carl: So, we are going out in another run now and i wanted to know if you would like to come with me, i mean, us.

Y/N: Sure!

Carl: Great! Let's go to the car then.

Y/N: Ok, let's go!

"Morning guys, I'm going with y'all on this run" i say as me and Carl arrive at where the car is.

Daryl: Ok, just take your weapons and give me so i can fit them in the car.

Enid: Hm...i don't that this will be possible

Y/N: Why not?

Enid: There was only one seat left in the car, which is mine now since i came first.

Carl: Don't worry, we will find a way.

Enid: Oh yeah? And how will It be?

Carl: Y/N you can come in my lap if it's okay to you.

Y/N: Sure, it's okay to me.

Enid: No she can't! Daryl, tell her she can't.

Daryl: I don't care, If Carl said she can go on his lap then let her, it will be good to have one more person to help us, it's not like you were of much help anyway...

Y/N: Great! I'll go get my gun.

"Omg I can't believe it, I'll be going on Carl's lap the whole trip, and he was the one to give the idea! It's like a Dream coming true, and who knows how long the trip will be, but what if he- no no, i can't think about it" i think to myself as i go grab my weapons and guns.

Daryl: is everyone ready? Get in the car.

Carl: Come Y/N *Carl says with a smile on his face after sitting in the car*

I carefully sit on his lap, trying to not move myself too much. "Relax" Carl says quietly in my ear as he feel my tense body, He's hands touch my shoulders as he slowly lay my upper body on him as I'm in his lap. As Daryl starts driving i turn my face for a second and see Enid angry on the other seat on the window, she was looking outside with explicit anger on her face.

After a few minutes Carl whispers on my ear with a sleepy voice "Can i sleep on you?"

Y/N: What? *I reply confused*

Carl: Can i rest my face on your neck so i can sleep? Sorry I'm just very tired *Carl says with his eyes half closed*

Y/N: Sure, come here
