⚠︎︎Monford's Secret World⚠︎︎
Chapter Four: A Secret World"W-What is this..?" Montagé stuttered as she got up from the floor and dusted off the dirt on her skirt. She stared at a hall full of students bustling from their classrooms, getting school items from their lockers, and walking along the hallways. Wasn't it empty just a minute, or five seconds ago? She was struck with confusion. All of them looked.. transparent? More translucent..but that didn't matter. As she walked past them, she got the same look she got on her first day. It wasn't expected but Montagé didn't mind it. She walked into what looked like her former classroom, only to see it broken down and all filthy. And she was even more shaken when she saw students who were meant to be human, floating! There was a student without a head! A student with cuts all over! And a student with half of her body gone! How was this even possible?! She fainted at the sight of it. How could a normal human girl ever unsee what she had just seen? It was traumatizing, it was horrifying!
"U-Ugh..." Montagé groaned in pain as she woke up. She was identifying her surrounding but couldn't possibly make up where she was.
Daesuke came into the room, feeling a tad bit guilty for bringing all this to Montagé. He didn't push her into this problem but, by interacting with her, she had now needed to know about the ghost world. Montagé opened her eyes. All she could see was blurriness. She blinked her eyes a few times and her vision started getting clearer and clearer. Montagé saw what seemed to be the school nurse and Daesuke having a conversation. The school nurse noticed that Montagé had woken up and decided to introduce herself. The school nurse, known as Mrs. Rainsford, introduced herself to Montagé. Montagé felt a small yet strong aura around her. It was much too little but she could sense that this school nurse wasn't just any school nurse. Montagé was a bit intimidated but thanked Mrs. Rainsford for taking care of her. Daesuke held his hand out. Montagé blushed a bright pink. She took his hand and they walked out of the office together. Daesuke squeezed her hand and apologized profusely to Montagé. Montagé was knocked to her senses and immediately forgave Daesuke. Daesuke felt really bad, like really bad for Montagé. Now she had to look at all the things that couldn't make her experience far more worse. Montagé let go of Daesuke's hand. She had obviously thought of something. Or else she wouldn't have abruptly let go. Something was bothering her. Daesuke sensed it. It wasn't normal for her to do that. Daesuke looked to his right and immediately knew the problem. The Banshee Squad. Everyone dreaded them.
" A new girl, eh? Such pity I caught you holding my boo's hand," stereotypically, said what seemed like the leader of the the squad.
Like any normal or basic story, there has to be a bad guy. This was them. The Banshee Squad. The leader was Amelia Shriekheart. The girl on her right was Magnom Relle and the girl on her left was Isabel Ivy. The three had such pretty, elegant looks, but had very, very trashy attitude. You could say they belonged to the "Barbies" isle, fake and plastic. Montagé was choking. She could barely breathe. That was until Daesuke screamed. The whole school was shaken. Apparently, Daesuke was a ghost, specifically a shade. A shade was known to be shy, yet powerful if angered, and that was exactly what happened. Daesuke screamed, his voice shrieked louder than the banshees. Louder than any other ghost in the school. Everyone collapsed but Daesuke and Montagé. Montagé fell to the ground. Daesuke immediately turned to Montagé and helped her up. He carried her on his back and walked into one of the classes. He sat her down and checked for any injuries at all. Daesuke was worried he had hurt Montagé.
"I'm alright, silly! Why are you so worried?" Montagé reassured Daesuke.
Daesuke looked away. He pouted and muttered some words. Montagé let out a small laugh. Oh, how cute Daesuke could be. They weren't all interested in each other and only meant it as friends, but obviously someone didn't get the idea before. They heard a creak at the door. Daesuke disappeared. He was nowhere to be seen. A demon peeped his head from the door. Montagé was nervous. She could tell the demon's aura was extremely powerful and dark. The demon stepped into the class and stared at Montagé.
"Who are you.. Why are you human.. How are you here," the demon spoke in a rough yet stern tone. His voice was so, deep, such a low note.
The demon started showing his fangs. He wanted answers. A lot of answers. There was no way a human could have found out about this world. The demon had jet black hair, a dull red skintone and could have possibly been the base role for a choir. Fire started appearing around him, a circle of flames consumed the demon. He appeared behind Montagé, she could sense his being breathing right down her neck. Montagé spoke, "What do you want from me." Daesuke appeared, snatching Montagé away from the demon. The demon growled, but walked away. "I know you wanted answers, Bradley, but that was no way to confront her," Daesuke said, strictly and unlike his shy self. Montagé's widened. Daesuke had a strict and stern side? Weird. It was never like him to have this kind of behavior. The school was still mostly unconscious. Montagé and Daesuke took a walk around the school to waste the spare time, but they hadn't known what was coming for them. Amelia Shriekheart, the leader of The Banshee Squad, woke up, with her ears bleeding. She was definitely about to blow out of anger. It was going to be a nightmare all over again for the school, especially since her father was the principal. The principal in the ghost world, Mr. Terrence Bradley. Oh, the complaints would definitely start coming in.
