My best friend ran into my room crazy hyper as usual she's lucky that she has a new roommate today thought because she had a break day

"Ok so I'm not sure of my new roommates name yet but it's her birthday today so I mm going to throw her a party" she said to me

"So you get the word around I'll set up k"

"Ok"

I went out to my first class it was hell but at least I only got 2 bruises this time then I finished the rest of my classes spreading the word around about the party's  but not too much cause I didn't want to over well the girl

As much as liv is amazing and my best friend she can be a lot sometimes and she doesn't really understand the no

I was at the party then liv and some girl were here liv screamed birthday girls here but the look on the girls face says she really doesn't want to be here

Around 30 minutes later almost every one is here and everyone is drunk and I was watching the birthday girl because I still sure if she was ok with this or not but then oeople just kept coming up and trying to flirt with her or kiss her then there was the other people that just kept wishing her happy birthday

Then she just stood up and ran out of the room most likely back to her room "why'd she run away I thought she liked it" liv sounded sad "liv why did you throw her a party?" "Because she looked sad and it was her birthday"

"At any point today did she tell you she actually wanted a party?"

"No"

"Tell me your conversation"

"I told her my name was liv then told her about her days off then she looked sad so I said I'm going to throw you a party to make you feel better and she said no thank you but then I just said it again then she said she really wasn't in the mood for a party but thank and then I said something like come it will be fun the left"

"Why do you think she was sad?"

"Because it was her birthday and her first day so now she only gets 3 days off instead of 4"

"You don't think it's because her parents dropped her off at this awful school on her birthday so she didn't get to spent it with anyone she loved"

"Oh"

"I'm going to go find her"

I went to her room and knocked and she said "if your here to wish me a happy birthday please go away"

I walked in cause I wasn't doing that

"You ok?" I asked

"Yup"

"It's ok not to be ok you know especially on your first day at this hell hole" I said and she laughed a bit

"I miss my family" she replied I hugged her and she started crying

"I'm sorry"

"No I'm sorry I met you 5 seconds ago and I don't even know your name but I'm crying and hugging you"

"It's ok really I'm Amelia liv's best friend I know she can be a lot at times so I just wanted to see if you we're ok"

"Thank you do you want to see some pictures?"

"I'd love to if your comfortable with showing me" she smiled and got up and went into her bags

"Oh my god you got a phone in here your so lucky I suggest you don't let anyone see it"

"Ok thanks for the tip"

"Anytime"

Then she got a stack of photos that were for her wall I assume

"These are my sisters the little ones maddi and the big ones Maia maddi didn't want to leave yesterday the only way she did was me telling her I'd be fine and pulling her down" she said pulling out a picture of her and 2 sisters she said

"And this is the most beautiful girl in the world I love her so much I came out to my parents because I wanted to ask her to be my girlfriend but didn't want to hide our relationship from anyone but as you can see that didn't go very well" she showed me a picture of her and another girl that looked the same age she had brown hair and green eyes it was a picture of them kissing

"Aw you guys look like a cute couple congrats and I'm sorry also she didn't officially get to before your girlfriend but I'm sure it'll happen after you get out"

"Thank you that means a lot"

"By the way I suggest not to put the kissing pictures up because sometimes the headmistress well come and do a room check so if you put pictures up just says she's just your best friend in the school the trick is fake it to you make it as much it might be hard if you want to survive in this school you have to act straight"

"Ok thank you by the way this is my best friend her name is skyla and we met on the first day of school in grade 1" she showed a picture of them

"Oh and but the way my name is y/n"

"Well it is nice to meet to y/n"

"You as well Amelia"
