As I got downstairs I heard the yelling start again and all I wanted to do was ran back up to her and keep her safe I almost did before maddi saw me on the stairs

"What's going on Millie?" She said and I picked her up to which she giggled

"Well your sister and your parents are just having a bit of a disagreement right now" I said replied taking her into the living room where Maia was sitting with a worried look on her face

"Ok maddi do you want to play a game quickly" I asked she she nodded quickly "I'm going to put my hands on your ears and start a tv show and your going to guess what there saying in your head then when we pause it your going to tell us and the winner will get to have some ice cream and French fries ok"  I said and maddi nodded excitedly well trying to grab my hands to put over her ears while maia turned on a show

"Are you ok?" I asked Maia well maddi was watching the show

"I wish I could help god I hate my parents for this I tried to tell them what the camp was doing I had saw story's from other people that went there and I tried to convince them that you weren't so bad but they just wouldn't listen" she sighed

"Look it's not your fault thank you for trying but I don't think there's really anything we could do at that point" I frowned

"Your right I just don't understand how they would rather have there daughter beaten then let her love who she wants to plus you'll like 10 times better then any boyfriend she could have had anyway" Maia said

"Exactly me too and thank you. I wish she could just come leave with me and my mom there would be no hate or fighting you guys could visit every day"

"That would be perfect" she said and I heard someone coming down the stairs so I took my hands off Maddi's ears and told her to tell Maia what she thought they were saying well I went to the stairs to see y/n who looks like she's been non stop crying which broke my heart again

Once she saw me tho she ran down the rest of the stairs and jumped into my arms and started crying I held her as tight as I could then I leaned back a little to give her a kiss and wipe her tears away she gave me a sad smile "I love you" I said "I love you too" she replied

"I don't think she does" her father said from the top of the stairs

"I know she does" I gently put her down but still held on

"Then why don't you ask her what her and her stupid roommate did at that school" I knew I shouldn't believe them but a part of my mind had always wondered she was there for so long and we didn't even talk at all

She shook her head "I didn't do anything I promise" I believed her so I just nodded and held her closer

"So you really believe her huh?" Her mom said

"Of course I believe her she's my girlfriend" I replied

"Then look at this" her father said then showed me her phone with texts on it like 'I love you' 'I miss you' 'when can I see you again?' And I was a little taken back so I looked at her confused and a bit hurt and she just started shaking her head "no i love you those aren't real I'd never do that to you I promise" I stayed quiet

"Cami please I won't do that" I nodded

"Oh really" her father said then showed me a picture of her kissing someone else

"Baby?" I asked tears forming in my eyes

"That's photoshopped that's not me" I was trying really hard not to cry

"Ok I think I'm just going to go for now" I said and  y/n started freaking out "no please I promise that's not me cami" "I love you" "I wouldn't ever do that I promise" "cami" "please"
