Chapter 22: The Dark Past

Dev ,Shefali and Anurag ,Prena and their older sons were present in Prena office room.

Shefali closed her eye's as she started to narrate the worst nightmare of her life.

Shefali:It was around Ayesha 9th birthday ,Jab Hendersons ko Anu ne fire kiya those bastards used to mistreat the kids by starving them and neglecting them ,Ayesha was always the bold one the time she understood it was wrong she straight away complained to me and Anu.

Shekhar fisted his palms this was just the beginning.

Ayushman stood in the corner silently.

While,Prena held back her tears.

Shefali:On Roho 5 th birthday I got a call from Ayesha she was screaming and crying and asking for help.

Prena closed her eye's.

Shefali:I called 911 and rushed home,Anurag was iout of state I called him immediately...when I reached there I saw the worst sight of my life .The paramedics were taking a 5 year old Sid covered in blood..

Shefali snifled.

Anurag hated the memory of his son in the hospital.

Prena gulped:Go o--n

Shefali took a deep breath.

Shefali:Ayesha was shivering as the Paramedics held her she was in blanket that day when she saw me she ran and hugged me mujhe ajj tak uske shivering yaad hai.

Shefali:Remember Ramu ..

Prena eye's widened..

Shefali:Yes he was the one the old harmless man that we had treated like family for years but inreality he was a monster in human clothing that molested our Sid for 2 years

Prena held back her anger as tears escaped her eye's.
Shekhar punched the wall in anger,Maan stood silently with red eyes anger that wanted blood.

Shefali:I suggested Anu to employ him which he did for two long years that monster stayed with the kids.

Shekhar angrily:For two years you found out nothing..

Dev:Shekhar let her speak please.
He said trying to calm him down but he himself clenched his jaw the mention of that bastard ignited him.

Shekhar looked away his blood was boiling.

Anurag:He acted like an angel infront of the me,that bastard..
Anurag said grinding his teeth.

Shefali:Later on we found out he used to take Sid in secluded room telling Ayesha off or locking her in a room and making excuses.As he knew Ayesha was an aware child so he never messed with her and was always nice infront of her but a child does notice wrong happenings.

Shekhar fisted his hand again punching the wall.

Shefali:She was just given a lecture at school about good and bad touch which made--

Ayushman:Her doubt the bastard.

Shefali nodded.

Shefali:She had asked her teacher many questions which we later.found out about as the teacher dismissed it as curiosity.
