Cinderpaw flattened her ears, she couldn't believe it, a vision from StarClan? she thought, she felt shivers just thinking about it, she didn't know what to do, Fogpaw has told her to stay near the entrance of the medicine den, but sometimes, she wondered what they would do with her, she kept on thinking, and thinking, until she would feel a cat's tail tap her shoulder, she gazed at the cat, and she smiled, "Birdpaw!" she nuzzled her head against the toms chest, "A-are you okay? do you know what they're going to do to you?" Birdpaw questioned in a nervous tone, Cinderpaw shook her head nervously, and laid down in sorrow, Birdpaw laid down as well, and he laid his tail onto her shoulder, "Don't worry, I'm sure nothing bad will happen." Birdpaw reassured, Cinderpaw glanced to the gray tom, and gave a small smile, but still, she was nervous, finally, a brown tom came out of the den and turned his gaze to Cinderpaw "Cinderpaw, I want you in the medicine den! c'mon!" he exclaimed, Cinderpaw stood up, and padded to the tom, and then gazed behind her, glancing at the taller tom, and she gave a smile, then she padded to the den with Leafstripe, once she had entered the den, she saw two cats, Fogpaw, and Milkstem, she sat down next to Fogpaw, while he was sorting herbs, Leafstripe sat down in front of the she-cat, and he finally revealed, "we have decided that, you must be a medicine cat.", "W-what?!" Cinderpaw flattened her ears, she couldn't believe it, a medicine cat? B-but I wanted to be a warrior! like Hollypaw! Cinderpaw then uttered "A-are you sure?", Leafstripe smiled, and gave a nod, Cinderpaw then drooped her tail down, Fogpaw just rolled his eyes in annoyance as he looked at Cinderpaw's gloomy expression, "Stop being so sad, it's annoying." he hissed, Cinderpaw nodded in sorrow, and ambled to the medicine den exit, but before she could, Leafstripe yelled, "Hey, before you go, we need to go the the moonstone in moon-high, get some travelling herbs when we are going.", Cinderpaw glanced back at the brown tom, "Sure, okay!" she said in a fake enthusiastic voice, and then padded out, coming out of the den, Birdpaw rushed to the she-cat, which made her jump, "What did they say?" Birdpaw glanced at Cinderpaw, she flattened her ears, "They made me a medicine cat." she glanced down, Birdpaw gave a smile, "That's great! You would make a great medicine cat!" he told to Cinderpaw, Cinderpaw just frowned more, "But I wanted to be a warrior..." she curled her tail around herself, "Maybe they thought I would make a terrible warrior, so they made me a medicine cat..", Birdpaw flattened his ears and frowned, but then he told her, "That's not true.", he then smiled, "I think you would've been a great warrior, who cares what other cats say?"

Cinderpaw glanced up to see the tom, and she smiled, and pressed her head against the tom, "Thank you..", yet, she still frowned when she remembered that time.

"Stop moving your tail, keep it straight." the ginger tom noted the she-cat, Cinderpaw glanced at the tom and gave a quick nod, she then spun back to the mouse, she set her tail down on the crunchy grass, and slowly ambled to the small prey, she ambled closer, and closer, until she would jump up into the air, and leap down to the mouse, but, the mouse glanced at the she-cat, and quickly darted away, she fell to the grassy ground, and fell on her back, her eyes were sealed shut, she then opened them, and turned her gaze to the mouse dashing away, it happened again. she lifted her body up, and sat down, Amberbreeze stomped to the she-cat, and sat down beside her, "You have to be good at this if you want to be a warrior." he hissed, Cinderpaw flattened her ears, "I know." she said in a monotone voice, Amberbreeze breathed a sigh, and glanced at the she-cat "Have you ever been paying attention?" he assumed, Cinderpaw just shut her eyes in guilt, "I think.", Amberbreeze hissed, "You have to pay attention." I have been. "If you can't be good at hunting, or fighting, what are you even good at?" being terrible. Cinderpaw shed a small tear, but wiped it off with her paw, "Pay attention next time."

Cinderpaw waved a small goodbye to Birdpaw with her tail, but frowned once he padded away, "I am terrible at everything." she padded away to the apprentices den, while walking past the bracken, and the clump of ferns, a brown tabby blinked at Cinderpaw, and she beamed a smile, "Hi! Have I introduced myself to you?" the brown tabby asked, Cinderpaw shook her head, "Oh, well my name is Leafpaw! What about you?" Leafpaw uttered, Cinderpaw smiled, no one ever talked to her before, aside from Birdpaw, "Cinderpaw." she told the she-cat, Leafpaw grinned, "That is a pretty name!" she replied, Cinderpaw felt red hot embarrassment, but shook it off, Cinderpaw padded to the she-cat, and laid beside her, "Wow! your nest is next to me? That's cool!", Cinderpaw smiled more when she continued talking with the taller she-cat, she felt as if someone finally liked her.
