A crisp breeze swept through the ferns and bracken, making the ferns swish against the dull, pale-brown bracken.

Pawsteps were heard from the depths of the plains, a dark ginger she-cat leapt down from a boulder that sat in the middle of the plains. She glanced around the clearing with worry in her expression.

"The coast is clear," She muttered. A cream-colored she-cat leaped out of a clattering bush, glancing at the dark-ginger she with a smile.

"Thanks for checking, Squirrel," Sunflower purred. Squirrel shot a glare at the cream-colored she-cat. I wish you could shut up... She told herself, but didn't say out loud.

Squirrel began to pad down the plains, beckoning her tail, signalling Sunflower to follow her.

Sunflower padded down the clearing of the plains, Squirrel padding beside her. Why did Eddie let that...Clan-cat join...? She wondered, scraping the ground with her claws.

Suddenly, Sunflower halted. Squirrel spun to face Sunflower, and she snarled. "Come on! We have to go!" She growled to the cream-colored she. Sunflower drew her lips to a smirk. "Oh, don't worry," Sunflower assured Squirrel. "We stop here."

Suddenly, Sunflower leapt forward. Squirrel pinned her ears down, and she darted out of the way. She halted, and she spun her head to see that Sunflower landed on her paws.

Squirrel narrowed her eyes at Sunflower. "WHAT THE HELL?!" She yowled to the cream she-cat. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!"

Sunflower grinned. "Sorry, Squirrel. Leader's orders."

Squirrel gritted her teeth at the cream-colored she-cat. I should've known! Of course Eddie would do that! Squirrel crouched, and slipped under Sunflower's body. She leaped up, and then sprang down to the cream-colored she-cat's back.

Sunflower hissed. "Get off of me!"

Squirrel flexed her claws, and she sunk them into Sunflower's back. Sunflower yowled in pain. She began to shake vigorously around the clearing, and Squirrel suddenly got herself thrown off the cream she-cat. Squirrel landed on her paws, panting heavily.

"Why are you doing this?!" She hissed in fury. Sunflower drew her lips to a smile. "Just like I said," Sunflower growled. "Leader's orders."

Squirrel widened her eyes in fright as she glanced at Sunflower darting down the plain clearing. I have to do something to stop her, She thought. Before it's too late.
