Hollypaw's eyes were filled with amazement. He's here?! Right now?! She thought. Her paws quivered in fright. He'll be here soon... I have to make a good impression!

Hollypaw glanced at Snowpaw, who had an exasperated expression. I bet he's jealous. We're the special ones!

Snowpaw narrowed his eyes at Firestar. "Well?! Search the whole territory! Did fire melt your brain or something?!" He yowled at the SnowClan leader. Whitestar shot a glare at Snowpaw. "Snowpaw! That is not a way to speak of clan leaders!"

Snowpaw flexed his claws. His head turned to the FlameClan leader. "So?! It's not my fault that Firestar is the dumbest cat in the forest!" He growled at his father. Hollypaw widened her eyes with shock in her expression. My second gathering, and there is already a fight...

"Listen to your leader, apprentice," Firestar hissed to Snowpaw. Whitestar narrowed his eyes at Firestar. "Shut it! Only I can speak to my son that way!" Whitestar hissed. Mossstar's fur prickled with anger. "You both stop! StarClan is going to cover the moon if we keep arguing!"

Whitestar stood erect, he spun to Mossstar. "Sure, the most important clan in the forest!" Whitestar hissed. "StarClan should've sent the message to us! We were the only ones who actually followed the warrior code!"

Clawstar scrambled to her paws. She glanced at the three leaders. "ALL OF YOU BETTER SHUT UP OR I WILL RIP YOUR PELTS OFF!" She yowled at the three. All of them suddenly froze, and even the crowd of cats stood still.

"The moon has been covered thanks to these moss-brains! The gathering is over! Everyone leave!" Clawstar hissed to the crowd of cats. Mossstar leapt down from his branch, landing on the soft grass-ground.

Hollypaw glanced at the long rock that was filled with medicine cats. Leafstripe, Fogpaw, and Cinderpaw padded down the clearing, they were all beside each other.

Hollypaw glanced at Cinderpaw, her expression was so clear to make out; fear.

Leafstripe brushed his fur against Cinderpaw, and drew his tongue over her ear in comfort. Hollypaw widened her eyes. Wait... We share a border with FlameClan, and FlameClan shares a border with SnowClan! She realized, glancing over her shoulder, and staring at Snowpaw who had his shoulders hunched and his expression filled with fury. I can meet Eddie. Today.

It was dark. The birds chirping had slept on their nests, the camp clearing was deserted, and everyone was asleep in their dens.

Hollypaw laid on her nest in the crowded apprentices den. She gazed around the den clearing, and once the coast was clear, she scrambled to her paws and headed into the entrance of the den.

As she reached the camp clearing, she spun away to the gorse-tunnel, and padded down the clearing of the camp, heading into the gorse-tunnel.

She padded into the entrance of the tunnel and padded up the path.

As she reached the top, she padded into the other side of the gorse tunnel. She stopped her tracks as she reached the forest-clearing. Gazing around the forest.

She sniffed, tasting the air, and she suddenly scented a familiar scent. Eddie! She stared into the depths of the forest, the darkness overwhelmed her. She padded down the forest clearing, she twitched her nose as she sniffed the rogue scent, and she stuck her tongue out. Ugh, I hate rogue scent. I hate it, I hate it, I hate it...

Hollypaw continued to trudge down the depths of the territory, and her eyes rounded in fear. I shouldn't have come here... She thought, but she suddenly heard a crackling bush from the border. Her ears pricked, and her eyes faded to stilts.

"Eddie?" She muttered out. A bush crackling kept going on and on, until she heard nothing. She then frowned, "It was probably a frog—"

She suddenly fell onto the grass-ground, she felt something hard standing on her back. A cat! She felt sharp claws sinking into her torso. She winced in pain as blood squirted out, and she felt as if the mysterious cat was going to slice her throat.

"HAWK!" A familiar voice hissed. Hollypaw pricked her ears, and suddenly the sharp pain of the claws wasn't there anymore.

"Eddie!" She called out into the open. The bush kept on clattering, and suddenly a cream-colored paw. As he padded out of the bush, he drew his lips to a smile as he spotted Hollypaw, who was scrambling to her paws. She turned her head to a brown tabby she-cat, and shot a glare at her. What was that for...?

"I knew you'd be here!" Hollypaw muttered. Eddie nodded. "Of course I'd be," He assured her. "I always keep a promise."

Hollypaw drew her lips to a smile. They are finally here! I can't believe it!

Suddenly, Hollypaw tipped her head in confusion. "Oh, Eddie," She meowed. "What is the group called? You never told me..." Hollypaw felt embarrassment dwell inside of her stomach, she gave her chest fur a few licks of embarrassment.

"Oh, right," Eddie leapt over the river that separated the clans. He landed on FogClan's side of the border, flicking the tip of his tail as he landed. "It's called, The Forbidden."

"Hollypaw! Wake up!" Milkstem's yowl rang through her ears. Hollypaw fluttered her eyes open, her eyes felt weary, and everything hurt. "Wake up, we're going on border patrol."

Again? She scrambled to her paws, still standing on her nest. "Can't I rest for a little longer...?" She asked wearily. Milkstem shook his head. "I'm sorry, but we have to. Now go take some prey from the fresh-kill pile."

Hollypaw nodded with a frown. She padded into the entrance of the apprentices' den, as she went to the camp clearing, she spun to the fresh-kill pile and padded over to it.

She sat down in front of it, gazing around the prey. She spotted a crow laying at the top of the pile, and she dipped her head and grabbed the piece of prey.

As she laid beside the fresh-kill pile, she set the crow down, and she began to remember what happened last night with The Forbidden.

She remembered the training, talking with Birch, and Eddie introducing the other members to her. She felt happy to be there.

She ducked her head, and sunk her teeth into the neck of the crow, she then ripped it out and began to consume it.

As she finished the crow, she began to remember that time when Eddie buried a crow alive. Cool, yet scary. She thought as she dug a small hole and placed the bones in.

"Hollypaw!" Cedarstreak yowled out. Hollypaw scrambled to her paws. "Coming," She meowed, and then padded over to the group.

"Is everyone ready?" Cedarstreak asked, the cats of the group began to nod.

The cats were Tigerpaw, her mentor, Troutscar. Milkstem, and finally, Lizardshard.

"Come on, let's go." Cedarstreak mewed to the patrol. And everyone padded into the gorse-tunnel.

As Hollypaw was padding up the gorse-tunnel, she wished that time would fly by faster, so she could train with Eddie.

She bounded down the camp-clearing with the patrol, but she suddenly heard something strange...

Her ears pricked, she stared beside her, and her eyes widened with fear.

A misty blue-gray tom stared at her with blank, fully white eyes. His expression was blank, but then he shot a glare at Hollypaw. "Why?" He asked, his neck-fur bristling. Hollypaw crouched in fright. "Wh—what...?"

"Hollypaw!" Lizardshard's hiss rang in her ears. She scrambled to her paws, turning her head to the patrol. "Coming! Hold on!" She called out to Lizardshard. Hollypaw glanced over to the bushes and the dark pine trees, but the mysterious tom was gone.

What just happened...?

As she wondered, she began to turn to the patrol, and she padded down the forest-clearing to join them.

It was just my imagination. She told herself. There wasn't anyone watching me.

She glanced over to the bushes, and began to ask herself; Right?
