Stupid nightmares came back. I thought it was over.

I was standing outside, in a downpour. Thunder boomed in the background and lightning flashed through the sky.

It was too misty to see anything. The fog was so dense.

I wanted to do something, but a painful sensation went through my arms. It was hot. Smouldering hot. Lava hot. Brutally painful.

I looked down to see my arms and hands on fire. I wanted to scream and extinguish it, but I felt too tired. So tired, I dropped to my knees and kept looking in front of me.

Then, the fire choked out. I looked down. There weren't any third degree burns, muscle or bone exposed. Just charred skin. There were cracks in them. They started to let out blood.

The rain cleaned it up, but it also went through the cracks and hurt like hell.

I ignored most of thunder and lightning, but I looked up at one that struck me in my heart, waking me up.

Took me some time to stop shaking.
