This is set before the events 'Under the Mountain' (So before we don't like Tamlin lol)

"Sister!" Tarquin called, causing me to raise my head from the plush turquoise lounge chair I'd been sunbathing on. "Yes, my dear lord?" I question, smiling at Tarquin's annoyed expression. He hated when we used proper titles with one another. "I've come to inform you that the Spring Court will be joining us for dinner." My older brother announces, and I perk up with interest. "Tamlin?" I ask, lowering my shades from where they'd been perched on my golden face. "Yes, Aelia, Tamlin, and his emissary Lucien shall join us along with some of his other staff." He huffs a sigh, knowing I always enjoyed conversing with the other courts too much for my own good.

"I shall go get dressed then," I say as I stand from the chair. I had been wearing a bright blue swim set, one that barely covered most of my tanned skin, I could sense my brother's irritation at my attire but I couldn't care less. As I stood, my silver hair waterfalled down to my waist and curled itself against the frame of my face. Tarquin nods, "They shall be here around sunset. I'll send Ciri up your way." he informs me before turning off to do whatever it is that high lords do in their spare time. I, however, headed up to my chamber to begin getting ready. My handmaiden, Ciri, entered the room, a warm smile on her face as I undressed out of my swimsuit.

"Should I draw you a bath, my lady?" She asks and I nod to her gratefully. While the water fills the tub, I finger comb my hair, working out a few of the knots that had formed in my hair. Ciri spelled some jasmine and lavender into the tub, filling the room with the sweet, floral aroma. I climbed into the warm bath water, watching as Ciri made her way to my closet. "What kind of dress were you thinking for tonight, my lady?" Cirir asked, thumbing through the various silks and fabrics of my wardrobe. "Perhaps something glittery?" I question and Ciri's face lights up.

"Yes! A glittery blue would go lovely with your hair color." She replies happily as I shampoo my hair and scrub my body. Then I was exiting the tub all too soon, shivering at the chill that took over as I reached for my plush bath towel. I dried my body before using a little of my sun magic to dry my hair, applying lotions and scented oils to my body as Ciri began pulling things out of my closet and laying them on my dressing table. I slip on the sheer underdress that Ciri laid out. It reaches my mid-thigh, and it just acts as another layer before I pull on the gown Ciri had picked out.

It was a spaghetti-strapped dress, and the top was a corset that pushed my breasts up nicely into view. The material draped down my legs, a slit running up to just below where the sheer dress ended. It was a light blue color, that was encrusted with jewels all over. Ciri adorned me with gold jewelry, before braiding my white hair in a crown around my head. She also did my makeup, doing a sharp winged eyeliner and a matching blue eyeshadow. By the time we're completely done, the sun has started to set and I know I should head downstairs soon.

"you look absolutely gorgeous my lady." Ciri compliments, making me smile. "I couldn't have done it without the best fashionista in all of Summer Court," I say enthusiastically, giving her a quick hug. I slip on my gold heels before heading over to the door. My heels clack against the marbled seashell floor. I descend the grand staircase, hearing voices from the dining room as I get to the base of the stairs. I first spot Tarquin, and then I see he's standing beside Tamlin.

Tarquin smiles as he spots me, waving me over to stand beside him. "Tamlin, you've met my sister Aelia?" He asks and Tamlin nods slightly. "Once briefly, at Spring Court's last Calanmai I believe it was." He tells Tarquin, whose eyes quickly snap to me. "You went to Calanmai?" Tarquin asks and I nod. "It was most lovely. I quite enjoy spring's weather." I compliment, hearing footsteps behind me. I turn around, spotting Lucien standing there. My heart flutters at the sight of the red-haired fae.
