They get to Jody's house, ringing the doorbell, the woman soon answering.

"Wow, you look terrible." Jody comments. "What's wrong?"

"Sure, we'd love to come in." Dean hugs her as he walks in.

"Hey." Sam kisses her on the cheek. Billy kisses her cheek and Daphne hugs her. "Yeah, we just finished a hunt in Brookings."

"And you couldn't take a shower first?" Jody asks.

"I tried to beg, but they wouldn't listen." Daphne says. "Speaking of, can I use your shower?"

"I would hate if you didn't." Jody says.

"We figured we'd stop by on the way home and see you, Claire, and Alex." Sam says.

"Aw, that's fun. Unfortunately, the girls are in Omaha for the weekend being angsty at a Radiohead concert." Jody says.

"Lucky." Billy grumbles.

"But I can feed you." Jody motions to the pizza box on the coffee table.

"Pizza." Daphne whispers, going for the box.

"Yes. All right. Oh, uh... since the last time we saw you? I killed Hitler." Dean proudly smiles.

"Oh." Sam rolls his eyes, walking away.

"Let it go, man. Just let it go." Billy shakes his head, passing Dean.

"Thank you?" Jody tells the oldest.

"You're welcome." Dean grins.

Jody and Billy are in armchairs while Daphne sits between the brothers on the couch.

"Jody, you watching some kind of chick flick here?" Dean asks, his mouth full of pizza.

"Well, Dean, I'm a chick." Jody reminds.

"No, no, no. You're-- you're a badass sheriff chick. You're not a-a rom com chick. Wait, are you a rom com chick?" Dean asks.

"Are you?" Jody questions.

"He's more of a, uh... animated Japanese erotica chick." Sam smirks.

"Really?" Jody leans forward.

"Mm-hmm." Sam smiles.

"Ugh." Daphne grimaces.

"Don't need to talk about it." Billy mutters with his mouth full as the phone starts to ring.

"I need to leave this scintillating conversation." Jody goes into the kitchen.

"Don't tell her that." Dean tells Sam.

"Tell her what?" Sam asks.

"It's Jody, man."

"Dude, be proud of your hobbies. It makes you who you are." Sam says before laughing.

"Don't tell me that." Daphne says. "Do you know how disgusting that is to know? God, you're like a dad. I don't wanna know what you watch." She grimaces.

Jody walks through the living room and to her room.

"Jody?" Sam calls. The four get up, following her and standing in the doorway of her room.

"Jody, what's up?" Dean asks.

"A friend of mine died." Jody says, her voice cracking.

"Who?" Sam asks.

"Asa Fox." Jody informs.

"Asa Fox. Why does that name sound familiar?" Dean asks.

"Isn't he the guy that Ellen used to tell stories about back at the Roadhouse?" Sam asks.
