"FLUG!!!"

At the booming sound of his bosses voice Flug shot awake. He had fallen asleep at his desk...again.

Flug scrambled from his desk and out of his office. He didn't know if his boss knew he was asleep or just needed him for something, either way he was dreading the outcome.

Flug's boss Charles was new, Charles's dad owned the business first but retired and passed it down to his good for nothing son. Charles was positive he knew everything to make the business 'better', quite an ironic quotation when just after a week of being hired 3 people quit the job.

Non of the less Charles hated Flug. He didn't even have a reason for it, it was like hate at first sight. Flugs boss had definitely wanted to fire Flug before but doesn't have a rational reason to. So normally the scientist received almost impossible assignments. Just like one time where he had to hook a pig to a lie detector and expect results.

Oh yeah! Forgot to say that Flug works as a scientist. Everyone still working there was confused how Charles even got the job when he doesn't know the plain rule of wearing goggles while working.

Just two days into getting hired he spilt acid all over poor Flugs face, Flug did get treatment and was fine but he hated his burn marks and now wore a paper bag over his face with goggles to look through. Flug only took the bag off when he was alone and probably not even then.

Anyways back to the story!

Flug practically flew through the manager office door and stopped in front of his bosses desk.

"Y-Yes, boss?"

Flug was still trying to catch his breath.

"For gods sake Flug! You need to pay more attention and get here faster!"

"B-But sir, my office is r-right across the building.."

Charles slammed his hand on the desk, making the whole room shake.

"NO EXCUSES! I expect more from you!"

Flug rolled his eyes under his bag and stood up straight.

"So, what did you need me for sir?"

"It was a test to see how fast you would get here. What if  I was hurt or in trouble?! That should've been a perfect reason to fire you...."

Flugs mouth dropped open and his eyes widened. Charles called him over here for a TEST?! If Flug had the option he would've ripped off his lab coat, throw it on the ground and screamed 'I QUIT'. However, Flug was in no place to do that since he needed money, none of the less he was Charles's best scientist. What he meant by that is that a boss from another company was coming to visit and Flug wasn't going to let Charles ruin this company's reputation. It was important to his old boss, he was old and retired because he had the money and thought the company had a good reputation for itself.

"Flug! FLUG! Are you listening to me?!"

Flug snapped out of his day dream and stared at his boss, clearing his throat.

"Sorry boss, what did you want me to do?"

"Ugh, about time! I need you to clean this entire building head to toe, the owner of  'Black Hat Organisation' is coming in tomorrow and I want it SPOTLESS!"

Flug nearly fainted at the sentence 'clean this building head to toe', the reason was because the building was 4 stories tall with the 4th story bordered off because it was under construction. One time everyone had to leave early because the construction upstairs made a man on the 3rd floor drop acid onto another employee. The other employee wasn't as lucky and died later in the hospital, however the company didn't need to pay because Charles had it ruled off as an accident.

Another thing is that Flug absolutely hated the second floor. That floor was basically a containment lab filled with monsters, demons and failed experiments.

But Flug had no time to waste, if he wanted this building clean in 2 days he had to start right then and there.
