The wind whistled through the empty street, the metal gate to the metro station creaked slightly in a rhythmic pattern....

"Y-YOU MONSTER!!"

Flug started to back off of his chair, he didn't even care that he fell and landed straight on his ass, he just wanted away from Black Hat.

"YOU KILLED HIM! YOU KILLED JAMIE!"

Black Hat barley seemed phased, he look at Flug like he was looking at a three year old mid temper tantrum.

"It was his own fault, everyone knows not to mess around in hell."

Black Hat spun around, facing the wall. Flug seemed almost offended that he was being ignored like that. The demon then stood up and walked towards a pair of curtains behind his desk. He grabbed a golden silk rope gently in his hands before turning to Flug.

Flug noticed that the curtains where unusually large, all the way from the ceiling until it skimmed the floor.

Out of no where Black Hat yanked the golden rope and the curtains flew apart. Flug had to put a hand in front of his face to block a sudden bright light being sprayed into his face. Outside was a blazing world of fire and destruction, screams, blood and much more Flug wouldn't even be able to gain the courage to write on paper.

Just a few second later Black Hat closed the curtains slowly, he obviously knew Flug didn't like what he saw.

"You don't have to be scared, i'd never do that to you."

Flug stared blankly at Black Hat, didn't he just kill his friend a moment ago? What was he saying?

"SHUT UP! YOU KILLED MY FRIEND!"

Black Hat smiled at Flug and laughed under his breath.

"You're lucky you work so well as a scientist, you have no idea how many people I've thrown away like a bag of shit when they talk to me like that."

"What're you talking about?!"

"You're going to work for me, if you want to live that is. Just say the word and I'll throw you into a fire pit."

Flug went quiet, he didn't know what to say. This man, this-demon! Just killed his friend and now he wants to hire him?! Flug didn't want to die though, the best chance he has is to take this demon's hand.
