Uraraka's POV

Himiko had been acting stranger then normal all week, either avoiding certain topics of conversation she'd typically be more then happy to discuss, leaving the house and not telling anyone where she went or just plainly avoiding me whenever I was home, as I had started up my hero duties again. I had only just gotten home after being held back a few hours with some street fights. "Welcome home mum, mama wanted me to let you know that she's gone somewhere again and she'll be back in around an hour, I think." "Right. Thanks Ketsu. And what are you still doing up? You should be in bed by now, you know that," I answered, taking on a motherly tone I didn't know I possessed. "Mama told me to stay and wait for you and I didn't feel all too comfortable going to bed with no one in the house," she said, hopping up from the sofa. "Alright, just get enough sleep, okay? I'll stay and wait for your mother. Goodnight sweetheart," I smiled, watching her head up to her room. I turned back to the door, debating wether I should be mad at Himiko or not. The answer, I concluded, was yes. She only behaved like this when she was planning or acting upon something that she didn't feel I would be happy about; last time she had been attempting to brush a murder under the rug, but that's from when they were still young. Ketsu said she would be back in about an hour. I still had 50 minutes to kill. Knowing that standing for that amount of time would kill my legs, I made my way to the sofa and got comfortable. I barely paid attention to anything, playing random games I found on my phone. I only put my phone down when I heard the door open, signalling that Himiko had returned. "And where were you?" She instantly froze at the sound of my voice. "Oh, Ochako, I thought you would've gone to bed by now," she answered, dodging my question completely. "Answer the question Toga," I said sternly, using her last name so she knew she was in deeper shit then she thought.

Toga's POV

Shit shit shit. There was no way I could explain this without giving up the whole act and telling the truth, which I wasn't planning on doing easily. What I was planning wasn't going to slip. "Well?" I tried my best to think of something on the spot, praying it would be believable enough for her to accept and not keep pushing. "I, uh, was trying to get in contact with some of your old school friends! Yeah, yeah, like that pink alien one!" "Mina?" "That's it, yeah, that one," I smiled, hoping to make myself seem more believable. To be honest, it wasn't exactly a lie. I had indeed been attempting to contact her old school friends. I simply didn't want her to push about reasoning. "Why the hell would you want to talk with Mina?" Fuck. "Well, you seem to know I'm plotting something, so I'm just gonna say it's related to that. Which I'm not gonna tell you," I answered, trying my best to end the conversation or topic of conversation at least. "Y'know what, as long as no one is dead, mauled or injured, I don't care," she said, completely giving up at this point. "C'mon, you practically haven't slept all week. Maybe some sleep will do you good," she muttered, grabbing my arm and dragging me up to our room with her. She stood at the door, gently shoving me into the room. "Be a good girl and go to bed." I essentially melted at her words, grabbing some pyjamas, changing and slipping into bed. She copied me, wrapping her arms tightly around my stomach and resting her head on my shoulder. "You know how much I love you, right Himiko?" "Of course I do. You love me as much as I love you, and I'd give my life for you, just as I know you would," I answered, slightly worried to why she would ask that. "Yeah, I would give it all for you." There was something on her mind, I could tell. "Is there something wrong? You can talk to me," I said, hoping she would tell me what was bothering her. "Yeah, I'm fine. Work's been stressful is all." "I'm always here if you want to talk." "Thanks Himiko. Goodnight," she muttered before going silent and becoming more relaxed. "Goodnight, Ochako," I whispered before closing my eyes and drifting into a peaceful sleep.
As per usual, I woke up before Ochako did. I pulled myself out of her arms, being careful to avoid her hand. She looked as peaceful as ever. I didn't want to disturb her yet, so I quickly changed into a white shirt and dungarees (overalls) and left the room as quietly as I could. I stopped just outside the door, listening. Ketsu was prone to waking up at early dawn from nightmares, so I waited to see if I could hear her. The house was silent. In fairness, she had been getting better with reducing her nightmares. Me and Ochako had a date later that morning and I wanted to make sure I had planned everything correctly. I ran my fingers over the velvet coating the small box in my pocket. There was about an hour to ensure things went my way before I had to wake Ochako and Ketsu, as we had found a school for her surprisingly quickly. I spent my time essentially just planning out every conversation I could could think of. I trotted up the stairs, heading straight for mine and Ochako's room. I slipped into the room, hopping onto the bed. I sat on top of Ochako, pinning her arms. I'd say her hands, but obviously you can't wear a prosthetic to sleep, so she had no hand to pin. I leant down, latching my teeth onto her neck. "Good morning, Himiko," she mumbled, not even slightly bothered by my teeth against her flesh. I sat up, still no letting go of her arms. "Mornin'," I answered, smiling happily. "Can you let go? I kinda want to grab my arm and ensure our daughter is awake." "Okie dokie." I let go and got off of her, letting her get up and get ready. "It's rare to see you with your hair down, what's that about?" "Just thought it'd be a nice change. Ya like it?" "Love it, darling," she smiled, putting on her arm. "Well, I'm gonna wake Ketsu up, have fun," I said, leaving the room again. I knocked on her door in case she was awake, but I didn't get an answer so I opened the door. She was still asleep. "Ketsu, time to get up." I nudged her, hearing her groan in response. "C'mon princess, you'll be late." She sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "Mornin'," I greeted. "Good morning mama," she answered groggily. Leaving her to get ready, I headed downstairs, met by Ochako making food. "Whatcha makin?" "Bacon, eggs and toast. You hungry?" "Yeah, I'll eat some. Thanks love," I smiled, giving her a small kiss before heading over to the sofa because I knew jack shit about cooking anything and didn't want to get in Ochako's way. "Hey mum, mama." "Hiya Ketsu. Oh my goodness, look how cute you are! Ochako looooook!" "Yes Himiko, you've said that literally every single time she's been wearing her uniform. I am very aware of how cute she is," she answered, looking over her shoulder. "Here, food. Make sure you eat up Ketsu, wouldn't want you starving, would we?"
Time skip I can't be bothered with this
Uraraka's POV
"So, where are we actually going? I thought I'd know by now." "You'll see." "...You have no clue how ominous that sounds coming from you, do you?" "I've had years to kill you. If I wanted too, you would've been long gone before you saw your sweet sixteen." Welp, couldn't argue with that. She placed her hand over my eyes, resting her other hand on my back to guide me. "Hey! Get off, I can't see!" "That's the point. Be patient. We're almost there," she replied, maintaining a calm, unusually monotone voice. "Fine. But if I fall over and snap my other arm off, I'm blaming you." "Oh hush." I couldn't tell what was going on, but I could hear and feel the change in the ground we were walking on, now being covered in leaves, the nice crunchy kind too. "Prepare your eyeballs for the most glorious sight that isn't my fabulous face," she joked, pulling her hands away from me. The area Himiko had chosen was definitely not what we'd typically chose, but the forest was gorgeous. It was a small clearing with a wooden bench in the centre and a small stream running down the left of the clearing. All of the trees surrounding the area were in different shades of oranges, reds, yellows and the occasional purple. "This place is beautiful Himiko. How did you find it?" "I used to hang around here when I was younger and needed a break from people. No one ever really comes here." "So, what have you got planned other than a very pretty place?" She pulled a light pink rucksack from absolutely nowhere like some kind of magician. "...Where'd that come from? We walked for a good half an hour and that was nowhere to be seen." "I have my tricks," she smiled, dropping the bag on the table, quickly beginning to rummage through the contents. I sat down, waiting for her to find whatever she was after. She pulled out a couple of ziplock bags, at least one of which containing sandwiches. "I do not trust your food making ability. It's probably got a sparrow in it for all I know." "Awe, c'mon, what's up with sparrows? And no, it's not poisoned. Plus, this one is your favourite." She placed the bag in front of me. I very much did not trust this. "I ain't eating that." "Oh yeah? If you'd rather have a bird, I'm very good at catching them." "I'd rather let you chew my good arm off," I answered, opening the bag. "I'm not saying I want to chew your arm off, but I wouldn't decline." She sat down on the other side of the bench, pushing the bag off of the table. I took a bite out of sandwich, praying it would taste acceptable. It was actually good for the standard of Himiko. "So, why don't we talk? Here, I'll start; what were you doing while we were separated?" "Oh, well I woke up in a hospital, got told I was in a good ol coma for some good months and that I had to stay for the remainder of the year." "Oh. Wait, didn't you come back in summer?" "Yep. I stayed for the year and turns out I was in worse condition then they thought. I had to stay there until the day I came back." "It's been a year?" "Yeah, didn't you know? On the topic, what happened to you?"
