A week of love

Day 3

It was a pleasant winter morning for the straw hats; they were having a well-deserved break after all the chaos that happened on egghead island, and the crew plus Bonney were enjoying the break in their ways.

Jinbe, Brook, Ussop, and Franky were all having a snowball fight on the island on the Sunny deck Chopper. Robin was building a snowman and laughing and cheering at the game happening below them. In the kitchen was Sanji, who was thrilled to be serving Bonney a supernova like the captain and Zoro, who was currently meditating in the icy climate.

You may wonder where the captain and navigator were and what they were doing. The answer was that luffy was currently cuddling and warming up Nami with his gear 5 transformation, something he found out, thanks to Vegapunk, that he could become as warm as he wanted. And was currently comforting the very pleased navigator since she loved being the centre of his attention, especially when she was squashed comfortable against her captain's newly well-built chest. And as much as she hates to think about it, part of her was glad he got beat and captured by Kaido because now she gets to reap the rewards of said capture all to herself.

The reason the Captain and Navigator were in this position is that as soon as luffy heard about Nami falling ill, part of him couldn't help but worry, not wanting her to suffer a similar fate to drum kingdom. Luffy decided to take Nami to her room and warm her and hopefully make her smile by telling dumb jokes and making even goofier faces than ever, and to Luffy's relief, it worked. He even decided to play a soft kiss on the top of her forehead when he thought she was asleep, which Makino used to do to him whenever he was ill.

Unaware of the captain, Nami was only faking and boy, was she glad she did after wearing a proud smile, knowing that she was the only girl to receive this attention from her captain and excitement building inside her because of the possibility that her feelings weren't one-sided. After a couple more minutes of the warm and cosy silence, the duo eventually fell asleep, unaware of an eye disappearing.

As well as the small party the crew goes through to celebrate the fact that the two closest people on the ship are one step closer to confessing to each other. They couldn't be happier for them, even including Sanji, who excepted that after wci that luffy was the only man who truly deserved to have Nami and realised Just how lucky Nami was to find a man that would never leave her side no matter what and would always bring her back to his side even if he had to fight gods to do so no one ever steals his most presses treasure without regretting it.
