At the moment he is about three years old.

In all three years of my life I haven't seen a thing. I haven't been able to see colours or shapes, heck I don't know what my parents look like. It is all just darkness, no light and everyone thinks I can see what they are talking about.

I know that I am really smart for my age. Right now I can speak four other languages that aren't japanese but nobody knows. I can speak Russian, English, mandarin and German. I know it's impressive but what's it worth if nobody knows your achievements.

I've noticed that Yuri isn't like other kids his age, other kids would be playing outside or trying to read but Yuri, yuri doesn't do those things. Yuri would squint his eyes at everything avoids all of the kids. I'm seriously considering that he might need glasses and I'm worried for his social life.

Yuri is now five years old.

People haven't noticed that I'm blind yet. I don't think they ever will, because all they do is whisper about me being weird or a strange child. But I have noticed that when there is sound I can make out the shapes of really big things, like yesterday I saw what I thought was the shape of a building, but again I don't know what they look like. Then again it's the fist time I've almost seen anything.

Thirteen year old Yuri (I know it's a large time jump)

My parents recently decided to take me to get glasses that I sadly won't need but I will wear them for their sake. Nobody realized I'm blind so I will keep it that way for a while. But my 'echolocation' has gotten to the point that I can see like a somewhat normal person, but color is completely out of the question so to others I'm colorblind. But I did start ice skating for fun and to see the limits of my new found ability.

I feel so bad about Yuri being colorblind, he will never get to experience the world in it's full glory but I'm happy he has taken ice skating as a hobbies to get his mind off things. We also got him a small poodle to make him happy and he name the sweet thing victor, after his idle on the ice. But am so happy about his other achievements. Like in P.E he scored first, must be his determination to be the best ice skater from Japan and to win the grand prix. I also can't help but feel like there is more to his colorblindness, for instance I asked him to fetch me a spoon from the kitchen, but he grabbed a fork instead. I didn't even know we had forks. But for a fact I know he's gay, he might try to deny that he is but he's straighter than a circle, a very wobbly circle, I mean we all know it to be true. Once I caught him listening to one of victor nikivorofs interviews while blushing.

Yuri is now eighteen, almost nineteen.

I have thoroughly refined my echolocation to the point where I have a somewhat visual map of things in my head and can live a normal life if a normal life didn't include shopping. I can also use slight vibrations to get places if it's to quiet. It's really embarrassing having to ask what the price of something is so I can decide if I can by it. But I have become really good at skating and I wan to turn it into a job, one that I really enjoy. My parents are still clueless on my visual problem but I think they are starting to catch on due to me never wanting to go shopping, be it by myself or with others.

Yuri is now twenty Three years old

I can't believe I made it to the grand prix. This has been a life long dream of mine since I was ten. It's like meeting your favorite celebrity. But I still wish I could see, the colors would make the shapes so much more amazing but we can't all get what we want.

Skating in front of so many people Is like a dream come true, although everyone else is so much more talented than me, I mean I have to skate against victor nikivorof, the greatest thing to happen to ice skating and my idol. Gosh I think I'm gay but how am I going to come out to my parents about it.
