**Next morning:**

**Yeonjun's POV:**

We all got ready for school. Today, Hyein and I didn't argue, which was unusual but welcome.

**At school:**

I was chatting with Mark and Doyoung when I saw Hayoon and Hyein walking towards us, engrossed in conversation.

As they passed us, Mark called out, "Yaa!"

"What?" Hayoon responded.

"Where are you going?"

"None of your business."

"You're so mean."

"If you find me mean, I suggest you quit finding me," she retorted.

"Chill, Hayoon. Mark, we're just going to the rooftop for some fresh air," Hyein answered, dragging Hayoon away.

"Are you a child?" I asked Mark.

"Look who's talking. You used to annoy Hyein constantly. What happened? Don't tell me you fell in love with her," Mark mocked.

"You!"

"Stop it unless you two want to lose some teeth," Doyoung interrupted. We immediately obeyed.

"You two are always childish. Man up, guys," Doyoung ordered.

"Okay, sir," we replied.

**Hyein's POV:**

After school, I walked alone to the car. Hayoon had left for her piano lessons, and I didn't see Sunghoon or Yeonjun. They were probably in the restroom or something.

I felt uneasy and nauseous but ignored it and went to the car. After some time, they arrived, and we left for home.

**At home:**

I was lying on the couch, scrolling through my phone, while Yeonjun watched TV beside me. Sunghoon had left for his ice skating practice, warning us not to fight. So far, we hadn't fought today, which was unusual.

After a while, I got up from the couch and sat next to Yeonjun, watching TV.

"Which movie is this?"

"It's a horror movie. I suggest you don't watch it; it starts in 5 minutes," he said.

"How scary can it be? I'm not a scaredy-cat like you."

"Okay then, let's turn off the lights if you're that confident."

"Sure, let me get some snacks."

"Hmm, go ahead."

I brought some popcorn and chips. We turned off the lights, and the movie began.

**Yeonjun's POV:**

Oh, shit! Why did I say that? It's not that I'm scared, but there's no light, and it's night. She doesn't seem scared at all...

The movie was really scary, and both of us flinched whenever the ghost appeared. Finally, it ended.

"Wow, it's over," she said.

"Turn on the light," I told her.

"Okay," she said but then sat back down immediately.

"Why don't you come with me?" she asked.

"Are you scared?"

"No, I'm not," she insisted.

"Come on, there won't be any ghosts here."
