I walked into my classroom and heard about the incident that happened in the cafeteria earlier.

"Is it true?" I asked Doyoung.

"Yeah, moreover, Aera started it. She was the first to pour juice on Hyein," he said.

"I see. What will happen now? Will she come back to school or...?" I inquired.

"Why wouldn't she come back when she did nothing wrong? But I heard the principal is Aera's uncle," Doyoung replied.

"So what?" I asked.

"I don't know. Wait and see," Doyoung said.

**Time Skip**

**At Principal's Office**

"You did what?" I asked my niece.

"Why are you asking me what I did? Why aren't you asking about what she did?" Aera retorted.

"You know what? I will just check the CCTV," I said, deciding to review the footage.

"Aera, the fault is on your side. I can't do anything about it. I have to discipline you," I said firmly.

"But uncle, why? She hit me, you saw that, right?" Aera protested.

"She hit you because you were about to hit her, weren't you? She acted in self-defense. There's nothing wrong with that. Moreover, I know you bully other students. Do you think that's good for our school's reputation? I will be calling your parents right now," I informed her.

"Why are you defending Yang Hyein?" Aera demanded.

"I know she is a good student, unlike you. She has manners. I've known her since she was a child. Learn from her," I said sternly.

"Uncle, I..." Aera began, but I cut her off.

"Get out," I commanded.

**End of POV**

**Author's Note (POV)**

As you can see, the principal is a fair person. He didn't side with Aera because all the evidence pointed to her being at fault. He prioritizes fairness and discipline, which is commendable in a school environment.

**Magical Time Skip - Hyein's Home**

"Thanks for the ride," I said to Mark as we arrived.

"Are you okay now?" he asked me.

"Yeah, much better than earlier," I replied.

"I'll head off now. Bye," he said, starting to leave.

"No, let's go inside. It's your first time coming to my home," I insisted, pulling him along.

"Okay, okay," he chuckled.

**As we entered, I saw my mom.**

"What happened, dear? Why are you home early? Is everything okay?" my mom asked me.

"Hello, Auntie. I think she's not okay," Mark chimed in.

"Is that your friend? I don't think I've met him before," my mom remarked, taking a moment to recall.

"Yeah, Mom, he's my friend. His name is Mark Lee. I'm sure I've mentioned him to you," I reassured her.

"Ahh, now I remember," she nodded.

"What did you tell her about me?" Mark asked curiously.

"That you saved me from Ha Yoon," I said, laughing along with Mom and Mark.
