*The Next Day*

*Yeonjun's POV*

I walked into the classroom and saw students chatting with each other. I searched for my friends; they were talking with Hyein and Sunghoon. The seating arrangements had also changed. I was just absent for a day, and it looked like so much had happened, I thought.

*Back to Yeonjun's POV*

I walked silently and sat down. Mark noticed me and said, "Yo, bro, I thought you wouldn't come today either. I was bored yesterday," as he came over to me.

"Really? I don't think so. Seems like you were enjoying talking to her," I said, and he understood who I meant.

"Why? Are you jealous?" he teased me.

"Whatever!" I replied.

*Not too long after, Doyoung came over.*

"Why is it so quiet today?" Doyoung asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked back.

"You aren't annoying Hyein," he said.

"You want me to annoy her?" I questioned him.

"Never, but it feels so silent," he said.

"Doyoung, can I borrow your math notebook?" a voice asked.

*We turned around and saw Hyein. She stood beside us.*

"Look who is here," she said, glaring at me.

"Sure, here you go," Doyoung smiled and gave her his book.

"We were just talking about you," Mark said.

"About me?" Hyein asked, clueless.

"They're sad that I'm not annoying you today," I said.

"Don't you dare to," she warned.

"I will," I said.

"Let's see then," she challenged.

"Yeah," I responded.

"Guys, let's stop arguing, will you?" Mark said, annoyed.

"I told you not to fight. Come here," Sunghoon said as he grabbed Hyein.

"Yeah, he started it," I heard her say.

Doyoung: "I was wrong about you two, I guess."

Mark: "Yeonjun, you are older than her. Why do you always fight with her and annoy her?"

Yeonjun: "Look who's talking? You and Doyoung did it until five days ago."

Mark & Doyoung: "Well, that was in the past. We've changed."

They said, and I scoffed.

*That's when Yoon entered the classroom.*

"Looks like someone fought," Mark said loudly, making Yoon look at us.

*She rolled her eyes and sat down.*

"Hey! Move, I’m sitting there," Mark said to Yoon.

"You can sit here," Yoon said, pointing to the seat beside her.

"No way. Get up, or else I will," Mark said, making his way to her from my seat (Mark, Yeonjun, and Doyoung were talking in my seat when Yoon came and sat down).

*Mark's POV*

I walked towards her, and she just said, "I don't care."

"Jaagiya, you came?" Hyein asked.

"Wait, you guys didn’t fight?" I asked Hyein.

"No, why would we?" she said and continued talking with Yoon.

"Ha Yoon! Are you moving aside or not?" I asked.

"Ugh... Doyoung, can you take this annoying brat to sit with you? I really don't want to be his seatmate," Yoon said.

"If you don't want to, why don't you go?" I asked her.

"Yeonjun, stand up!" Doyoung said to Yeonjun.

"Why?" he asked.

*Doyoung just pulled Yeonjun out of his seat and made Yeonjun sit with Yoon. Then he took me and made me sit in Yeonjun's previous seat.*

"Listen here! If I ever see you guys fighting in front of me..." He said, looking at me, Yoon, Yeonjun, and Hyein.

We just kept quiet because Doyoung is scary when he is angry.

*A POV*

That's it, now back to the story.

*Doyoung's POV*

"Am I clear? Don't fight, okay?" I said and sat down.

"Oh, right! Yeonjun, we have an arts festival in one week. I forgot to tell you," I yelled for Yeonjun to hear.

"Oh, really? Let's discuss it during lunch break," he said, and I agreed.

*Yeonjun's POV*

I kept looking at Hyein the whole time because we had a little argument the day before yesterday. I just found out about the 'cafeteria thing' after she left. Now I feel sorry and guilty for acting like that. I didn’t know 'Aera' liked me; she must hate Hyein now.

End of POV.
