Later that evening, after a hearty meal and some relaxation, there was a knock on my bedroom door again. This time, I opened it cautiously, half-expecting my dad or mom. To my surprise, it was my bestfriend, standing there with a serious expression.

"Oh, Prince Nim! What are you doing here?"

I asked, trying to hide my smile."Cut the nonsense,"

he said, his voice gentle but firm.

"I was worried about you, you know?"

"Me too," (another voice)

I started, but before I could finish, another pair of arms wrapped around me from behind.

"Hey, guys, can't breathe here,"

I managed to joke, feeling both relieved and slightly overwhelmed by their unexpected visit.

They released me, and I turned around to find none other than my best friends Hayoon and Sunghoon standing there, concern evident on their faces.

"It's already 7:16,"

I teased lightly as we all settled into my room."We got detention,"
Sunghoon explained with a sheepish grin. "For not attending class."

"And why's that?"
I asked, genuinely curious.
"Had other things on our minds,"

Hayoon chimed in, her playful tone taking the edge off the seriousness.

We chatted for a while, enjoying the comfort of each other's company.

Eventually, the conversation turned to lighter topics, like what flavor of ice cream we should raid from the freezer downstairs.

In the kitchen, scooping out generous servings of ice cream, the mood lightened even more.
Sunghoon couldn't help but voice his concern once more.
"Are you okay now?"
he asked, eyes searching mine.
"Yeah, I'm fine,"
I reassured him.
"Yeonjun didn't hurt me, if that's what you're asking."
"You sure?" Sunghoon persisted, his protective instinct kicking in.
"I'm sure,"
I replied, trying to ease his worries. "He's not as bad as he seems."
"But from now on," Sunghoon declared, a hint of determination in his voice,
"I'm not leaving you alone."

"Come on, guys,"
I sighed, though secretly grateful for their support.
"I don't need a bodyguard."
"Too bad,"
Sunghoon grinned mischievously.
"You've got one".
The evening passed in laughter and shared memories, reminding me of the strength found in friendship during tough times.
