"Sister, please..."

"You're not right for me."

"Why..."

The figure continued to walk away from a struggling one with a bloody cut on her waist. She couldn't recognize her sister anymore no matter how hard she tried. Her 'colors' were too disarranged make them out.

"Sister!!!"

...

Shiro woke up with a sudden burst. There were two familiar people standing beside her bed.

The young boy said "Are you okay?"

"You got stabbed in your hand." the woman added. It was the same woman but she wasn't wearing a police outfit but a pink crop top with a blue jacket.

The young boy corrected "She stabbed herself."

"Really? Why?"

Shiro smiled with composure "It's fine."

She removed the bandages to reveal just a scar.

"I was taught which parts of my body wouldn't lose enough blood to kill me. It was close though. If I hadn't hit millimeters away from my central wrist veins, I would have bled to death."

She laughed in a light manner.

The pair sweat-dropped as they thought "How can she be laughing?"

Shiro inquired "Just wondering...who are you guys?"

The young boy replied "Oh yeah. I'm Jamie.

The woman answered "I'm Mayumi."

Jamie continued "Yeah...we have a lot to explain."

After the long explanation, Shiro was still confused. She attempted to clear up,

"So there is a group consisting of gifted people called Spirited. They each have classes representing different roles in society. And both of you are graduates."

Jamie slowly said "Yes..."

Mayumi teasingly retorted "Heh. You're probably wondering if this pipsqueak had even graduated."

Jamie sheepishly shouted "Mayumi! I'm just 86 years old!"

An awkward silence occurred.

"Yes. You're probably wondering why..."

"So you're not a police?" Shiro interrupted.

Jamie was stunned that she didn't ponder about his age.

Mayumi clarified "Yes. I'm just a Purple class actress."

"What actually happened back there?" Shiro asked.

*Flashback *

Jamie explained "I sensed a disturbing aura inside the house we were in. So I investigated. The woman was there and invited me in since she thought that I was a young boy lost around the street. She sat me down for a cup of tea. I tried to hint some interrogation our conversation in order to find out what she was hiding. Once she knew that I what I was doing, she took action.

"I am perfect. Why don't you think so?!!!"

Mayumi continued in her point of view,

"The door was locked but the extreme blood lust I sensed was too much to ignore. So I dressed up as a police officer and busted in."

"What happened afterwards? In the fire?" Shiro asked

There was a long pause and insecure glares between the pair before Mayumi finally answered "We were just in time to save you."

Shiro sighed in relief "I owe you guys!"

The pair smiled but were hinting anxiety.

Shiro said "Oh yeah! Where's the dog?"

Mayumi nervously responded "Shiro, I don't think that he will..."

She was stopped abruptly by a cheerful dog bolting into the room and leaping onto Shiro's arms. Shiro now recognized it as a husky since all the scars and blood on it from before made it hard for her to recognize it.

Mayumi smiled and informed "The doctor said that you should recover in at least three weeks. We have a surprise awaiting for you until then."

"Good night then." Shiro muttered as she drifted into a relaxing sleep. The bandaged dog rested beside her. She rolled onto the side.

"Mayumi," Jamie muttered.

"We didn't save her from the fire...and the dog wasn't alive."

Mayumi replied "I know. I couldn't believe it either. But..."

They look at the faint blue glow on her back.

"...there's no doubt about it. She's a doll.
