Maria closed the door. "Mirabel I want to tell you something you cannot tell anyone else ok?" She asked. "What is it?" Mirabel asked. Maria took her ruana off revealing her wings. "Y your-" she cut her off. "Shh!" She pointed to the picture of dolores. Mirabel writ down the words "your Maria madrigal?" She nodded. "Why didn't you say something?" She whispered. "I was afraid you'd all hate me and...that you would hate me, i was scared of being hated by my family but I didn't have anywhere ti go" she explained. "But you cannot tell anyone!" She said sternly. "Ok. Thanks for telling me" she smiled, "I'll propably regret it later but its done now" mirabel chuckled. "Alright, time for bed" they all got to bed. Mirabel couldn't sleep however. She sighed and got up. Maria sat up aswell, "where do you think your going?", she asked,her wings drooping as she was exhausted. "I'm going to see the if there's any cracks by the candle" mirabel whispered, the girl got up and mirabel shook her head. "Your tired," "you and me both saw it, I can't sleep either" she sighed and nodded. They climbed out of the window, Maria took mirabels hand and flew up to the roof. "That's cool" she stumbled as she hit the floor. Maria put her wings to her back, the two walked across the roof. Casita didn't try to stop them. They got to alma's window. "No-" Maria pulled mirabel to the wall as alma came. She sighed and took her pendant. "Oh pedro, I need you..cracks in our casita, if our family knew how vulnerable we truly are. If our magic is dying...we cannot lose our home again" she sighed "why is this happening?" She looked to the sky "open my eyes, if there's an answer here help me find it" she looked back to the picture, rhe girls suddenly felt bad for her "Help me protect our family, help me protect.. our miracle" she kissed the image of her husband them closed the locket and left. "I will save the miracle" mirabel said determinedly. They both went back tk the nursery and changed. As mirabel was about to leave the door"wait how do you save a miracle?" She asked the house wich seemed to shrug. "We need to figure out what's going on with the miracle!" Maria explained. "Yiu arent help-" Maria cut mirabel off. "I'm helping, you can't shake me now" mirabel sighed and nodded. "There is one person jn this family who heres everything about everything" mirabel took a picture.
