Matteo

"Well there you have it." Porter said dusting off his hands.

I opened my mouth to speak, but someone did before I got the chance. "Great, that's all for now." Bianca said dismissively.

Porter gave her a long look, then one to me, the one he gave me having a hint of shock I was not willing to answer. I cleared my throat, and gave him a nod telling him he was dismissed.

Bianca walked on the now fully metal sealed floor, looking around for literally anything she could pick on and have me change.

Ever since that meeting, Papa was somehow almost impressed by Bianca, and decided to loosen our control a little, handing it to her. First of all, he stopped shit talking her, and complaining about Fernando letting her attend the meetings, and now he let her manage our storage areas, and security.

Bianca, or more as Diego, now had all the passwords, information and security footage and system. And after these last few hours, in which she had forcefully asked me to take her to every land property of ours, so she could add any security measures.

In truth, Bianca probably didn't need me to take her to all of our business lands, but I knew why she did it, so I saw the new arrangements, and she got to spite me. Papa had been incredibly insistent on me going and having a look, even having the audacity to tell me I should quote-on-quote, 'learn something'.

"Well this seems much safer." Bianca said to herself in approval.

I inwardly let out a frustrated sigh and walked out of the place, unlocking my car. She walked behind me, going around the car to the other side, because apparently she had the guts to push my buttons by getting into my personal space, and my fucking car.

I got in the car, and she did too, checking her phone. "Okay, now take me to the place you do all the rough shit." She said, typing something.

I blinked as I put my hands on the steering wheel. Every time she swore it was like it took me by a whole different surprise. Never in my twenty-nine years of living had I ever heard a women in the Mafia swear, not even Sofia had the guts to do that, even in her try hard cool phase. But for Bianca it was as if those words fell out of her lips naturally. Even if it was said to be a disgrace to women in our world.

Noticing my gaze she looked up, and narrowed her eyes."What?" She snapped. I let my gaze stay on her for a second longer before I started driving.

"Rough shit?" I asked, realizing I wasn't sure where we were going.

"Yeah. The place where you destroy men so they can give you secrets, or whatever you do in there." She said with a shrug.

"Huh." I stated. "And why would I take you there?" I asked, because that place definitely didn't need her safety precautions.

She let out a whisper of a laugh, which I only detected because of the linger left in her voice when she spoke. "Because your Papa has ordered you to."

My jaw clenched, because there was no way Papa had told her so, and there was also no fucking way that she was able to guess.

"He didn't." I said. Yes it was bold, especially now that I knew Bianca, but then again hell would freeze before I listened to her.  "In fact, I could leave you right here in this forest if I wanted to." Very bold.

"He did." She said simply, and then she opened her purse and took out a can of Coke. As if I hadn't just fucking challenged her and said that she'd be left here in the middle of fucking no where to fend for herself.

Anger ignited in me, but I only limited it to increase the speed of the car. No matter how much I hated her, how much I wanted to, I couldn't do anything to Bianca. Not just because she was the eldest daughter of a fresh truce maker, but also because of her relationship with my future wife. I wouldn't be seen as the murderer of my wife's sister, in my own wife's eyes.
