Bianca
As soon as the elevator doors open, I enter Matteo's penthouse and immediately go to my room. Grabbing my phone charger, I plug it into the wall and wait for my phone to come back to life.
With the whole Francois fiasco in mind, I'd completely forgotten that Tessa had told me to message her when I got home safely.
A part of me felt childish and stupid. Maybe she had only said that for the sake of saying it, she probably didn't really care. Why was I thinking she'd be worried about me right now, people have their own lives and things to do than to sit around and worry about a random person.
When my phone lights up after a few minutes. I was about to press call when I paused. A part of me felt childish and stupid. Maybe she had only said that for the sake of saying it, she probably didn't really care. Why was I thinking she'd be worried about me right now, people have their own lives and things to do than to sit around and worry about a random person.
I don't know what I expected myself to say to her if I even called right now. Settling for a quick message, I click my phone open.
When I tap in my password, I'm in shock. I had 36 messages from and unknown number and even more calls.
Quickly scrolling up to the oldest message, I scan through them.
Hey this is Tessa
Hope you got home safe.

*Missed call*
Something makes my throat feel heavy by the time I've read all of them.
I look at the time she messaged me last — 2:38
It was 3 in the morning now, and I didn't know if I should call her now or not. She probably was asleep by now. Finally deciding, I tapped call before I can change my mind.
She picks up on the second ring. "Hello?" Her voice comes out tired and soft. I curse myself, because I realize I woke her up.
"Hey, it's Bianca." I said feeling my palms start to sweat.
"Bianca..." She said to herself, before I hear shuffling. "Oh my fucking god, Bianca! You're alive! Thank fuck! Where were you?" She squeals so loud that I have to physically move the phone a phone inches back from my ear.
"Sorry I didn't see your messages, my phone died." I said.
"Oh my god, I thought Francois did something, I'm so relieved!" She shouts.
"Smettila." I heared a man say from a distance in the phone.
"Sorry, sorry." She said to someone. There's a lot of shuffling and movement on the other side. A door closes before I hear stillness again.
"All ok?" I asked awkwardly.
"Yeah, I might have woken Tammen up though." She said giggling.
I laughed too. "Sorry for that."
