I'd seen some weird stuff over the last week, so finding out my old teacher was a centaur didn't surprise me much. Percy and I followed him around the camp, but we both stayed far away from his back side. We passed a volleyball pit that some campers were playing in. They all stopped and stared at the Minotaur horn in Percy's hands. They all started whispering. I caught one saying, "That's him." I felt a chill go down my spine, I turned and looked at the top window of the farmhouse . I had a feeling that we were being watched.

"What's up there," Percy asked. Chiron looked up to the window and said, "Just the attic."

"Somebody lives there?" I asked.

"No," Chiron answered. "Not a single living thing." I had a feeling he was telling the truth. We continued our tour through the camp. Chiron explained what certain things were and what they were used for. Finally, we got to a group of the weirdest buildings I had ever seen. There were twelve of them, arranged in a U shape. "Zeus and Hera?" I heard Percy ask. I looked towards the building he was looking at.

"Correct," Chiron said.

"Their cabins look empty."

"Several of them are. That's true. No one ever stays in one or two."

"Twelve cabins for the twelve Olympians." I muttered. Chiron looked at me and nodded. Percy came to a stop in front of cabin 3. The outer walls were of rough gray stone, studded with pieces of seashell and coral. Percy stepped inside the cabin. "Oh, I wouldn't do that!" Chiron called after him. Percy stood there completely still for a solid minute before Chiron put his hand on Percy's shoulder, "Come along, Percy." We continued walking past the cabins until we came to a stop in front of cabin eleven, where the blond girl from earlier, and a tall blond boy were waiting for us. "Annabeth, Lee," Chiron said. "I have a masters archery class at noon. Would you take Percy and LJ from here?" The two nodded. Annabeth says, "Yes sir!"

"Cabin eleven," Chiron told us. "Make yourselves at home." Percy and I cautiously enter the cabin followed by Annabeth and Lee. Chiron was too tall to enter, but when the campers saw him they all bowed respectfully. "Well then," Chiron Said. "Goodluck, and I'll see you two at dinner."

"Well?" Annabeth prompted. "Go on." Percy tripped on his way in and I tried my best not to laugh at him.

Annabeth announced, "Percy Jackson, LJ, meet cabin Eleven."

Someone asked, "Regular or undetermined."

I had no idea what that meant but Annabeth responded, "Both undetermined."

Everyone in the cabin groaned. An older guy came forward and said, "Now, now campers. That's what we're here for. Welcome, you guys can have those two spots on the floor over there." He was maybe 19 or 20, he was tall and muscular with sandy colored hair. He also had a long scar that ran from his right eye to his jaw. Something about him seemed off. "This is Luke." Annabeth squeaked out. I looked at her with raised eyebrows. She noticed me looking and cleared her throat. "He's your counselor for now."

"For now?" Percy asked.

"You're undetermined," Luke explained. "They don't know which cabins to put you guys in, so you're here. Cabin eleven takes all newcomers, all visitors. Naturally, we would. Hermes, our patron, is the god of travelers."

"How long will I be here?" Percy asked.

"Good question," Luke said. "Until you're determined."

"How long will that take?"

All the campers laughed.

"Come on," Annabeth told Percy. "I'll show you the volleyball court."

"I've already seen it," Percy states.
