5; Battle

It was already the second day. In one of my later classes, we had All might as our teacher, so that was quite a surprise. But I did hear Izuku mumble about it happening, so I was already kinda expecting it.

Anyways All Might told us we were going to go into battle training. I was kinda nervous about it since I don't think I could make it through, since you have to use your quirk to hurt people technically.

When everyone got outside to meet at the battlegrounds, I noticed everyone's hero outfits. A lot of them were quite interesting, flashing, or even idiomatic. How every when I saw Izuku's outfit I could barely hold in my laugh. Even though his outfit was ubiquitously green, the way the headpiece was made looked a lot like All Might's hair. Which was what got me almost laughing. Izuku really admired All Might that much, huh? Something else I noticed with Izuku; was he was just as glamorized over everyone else's hero outfits as I was. Though Bakugo's was too much like him, it made him look scarier than he already was.

Anyways, All Might began talking about how not all villains fight outside, that the cleverest villains hide indoors, which then trailed to quite a few questions from the class. All Might told them to ask one at a time before telling us how this class will go.

All Might explained that we are put into teams, and you have to capture the other team or secure the bomb while in the building, to win. I planned to just try and secure the bomb, not using my quirk once. Since we were going to be in a building, I didn't want to accidentally bounce off the walls and hit someone severely.

Our buddies were going to be decided from drawing slots. The tentacles dude, who I found out went by the name Shoji, got teamed up with a kid who I was guessing had an ice quirk based on his hero outfit design. Uraraka and Izuku got put into a team. Then my name got called, and I was slightly nervous about who could be my buddy. Shortly after All Might said Bakugo's name. I froze in fear, startled by what All Might had said. How was I going to survive this? I could feel Bakugo's menacing eyes on me, but I didn't dare turn my head around to look at him.

Once the other teams got sorted out, All Might then went to grab from two boxes, one saying 'Villian' and the other saying 'Hero'. He then took out the ball from each of the boxes, sorting who was 'Hero' or 'Villian'. It was team D and team A.

I and Bakugo made it to the floor that had the bomb in it. I stood in front of the bomb putting my hand against it, noticing how tall and big it was. We had five minutes till our battle training officially started. There was silence between me and Bakugo before he spoke in a voice that was filled with anger.

"Did you know of Deku's quirk?"

I turned my head over to him, seeing that his back was facing me. I then looked back over at the bomb, then looked down at the floor; I shook my head slightly.

"No. No, I didn't."

He scoffed at my answer, now facing me. I lifted my head, looking at him now.

"Whatever quirk he has; I am going to beat him. You better not get in my way!"

I didn't want to hear Bakugo's bickering, I didn't care if we win or lose, I was worried about Izuku. Even though he somehow had a quirk now, he looked like he couldn't control it, as his finger was broken yesterday from using it. Could he defend himself in this situation? I couldn't help him this time, so hopefully, he won't get beat up too badly.

After what seemed like five minutes, Bakugo ran straight out of the room, going after Izuku. Damn. I was now alone to defend our win.

With my loneliness, I began thinking of a plan. If I could remember, Uraraka's quirk had something with making things float if she touched them. So, I moved any objects in the room, putting them on the staircase, and hiding them there. I then began hearing explosive noises coming from what seemed like some floors down. Guess Bakugo already found him.
