The sun was shining in my face, waking me up just in time for my alarm to wake me up 2 minutes before it would've gone off. I got out of bed, went to the bathroom got into my uniform. I then got my shoes and backpack and headed out the door.

Izuku wasn't at the subway station. Was a bit worried about if he could be sick, but I soon forgot the thought once I entered the school grounds.

When I saw him in class, I didn't ask him any questions. Maybe he decided to walk to school early in the morning or even had taken a bus?

During my free period, I decided to check the text he sent last night that I didn't see. It read:

Would you be fine meeting up at that abandoned building I showed you a while ago tomorrow after school when I'm done with detention?

He was talking about that old, abandoned office building he showed me the day before UA. I sent a thumbs-up back. I guess I could join him there, hopefully, I could remember where it is.

The school day was over, and I rushed out of there. I waited at home for an hour before getting a text message from Izuku telling me he was already heading to the building. I got up, already in clothing that was not my uniform, grabbed my shoes, and headed out the door.

I sped over to the abandoned building, hoping I remembered correctly where the route was. Once I got there I looked up, realizing how many steps I was going to have to take. But I did it, seeing Izuku standing over the edge once I opened the door outside. He was still wearing his UA uniform with his backpack on him. I began walking over to him, now standing a couple of feet from him.

"Hey. Sorry I was kind of late, had to try and remember the way back here since I don't really know it."

"It's ok."

He seemed oddly calm. Uncomfortably calm. He was smiling, but the smile was very uneasy, almost seemed like he wasn't happy but was faking it. It was also silent, and I disliked it, so I tried to begin a conversation.

"How was detention? What did Mr. Aizawa make you do?"

His smile became a frown, as he looked down at the concrete flooring, but slowly brought it back up once the conversation continued.

"Boring. Just some cleaning in the classroom and an odd lecture on respect or something."

"That's... Interesting. Was Bakugo mean to you at all?"

"Kacchan... Kacchan mostly stayed quiet during the whole thing."

"Probably didn't want to get caught doing anything else that was bad. Anyways, why did you ask me to be up here?"

"Oh...Um, I wanted to talk to you. To catch up on some things."

"Ok, you want to sit somewhere?"

Izuku then grabbed a small blanket that he had in his bag spreading it out, like a picnic blanket, along the ground, right at the edge of the guard rail along the edge.

"Guess you have been preparing for this?"

"...I guess so. What's bad with preparing?"

"Nothing, nothing. Come on let's sit. Tell me about what your mom's been up to or something."

Both of us sat there, chatting away. Sense UA we haven't been able to talk at all, so it felt nice to finally talk with one another. Felt like we haven't talked in years and finally was able to catch up, and the background noises of the city made it feel very calming and open. Then Izuku asked a question I never expected.

"[Name]... What happened with you at the USJ."

I hesitated slightly before answering him.

"Um... If you are wondering where I was... Well, that purple portal guy sent me to the middle of the plaza in the USJ so that's what happened to me?"
