The Perfect Weapon

"Today, class we will be practicing shuriken and kunai throwing, don't worry if you don't throw it right as it's your first time." Iruka announced and some children cheered.

"Alright first up..Aburame Shino! Please collect these shuriken and kunai, and try your best to aim at the bullseye." The mocha-skinned man informed.

'Shino' walked to the table and grabbed the shurikens, he stood at the red line and threw it getting 10/20 bullseyes, he went back to the table to get the kunais instead like before he stood at the red line and threw the kunais one by one getting 14/20.

"That was great for your first try Shino! Now next..Nara Shikamaru!" Iruka continued, repeating the process again and again until...

"Uchiha Sasuke!" The brown haired man called out to which in response an onyx haired boy came up and grabbed the shuriken and kunai, like the other people before him, stood at the red line and threw it getting a 19/20 for the kunai and 20/20 for the shuriken.

'Tch I messed that one up..' Sasuke scolded himself.

"Ahhh! Sasuke-kun!"

"Obviously Sasuke would get the best!"

"Let's get married when we grow up Sasuke-kun!"

"He's gonna be mine!"

"What do you mean Ino-pig! He's obviously going to date me!"

"Don't get too cocky billboard brow just because he took a glance at you!"

"That was expected of Sasuke-sama"

"Tch! That was rigged!"

"Iruka-sensei! I think one of the kunai might be dull or too heavy, there's no way Sasuke-sama didn't get a full score on that!"

"Quiet!" Iruka said and the children quickly went silent "Now..Uzumaki Naruto?" He called.

"Hai!" The blond boy walked up to the table repeating what the other children did, and getting a..

4/20 on the shurikens and 2/20 on the kunai..

Naruto went red in embarrassment while children laughed at him "QUIET!" Iruka shouted, he looked at the blond boy though in distaste from remembering when they announced his parents died.

He sighed "It's your first time don't dwell on it too much" Naruto nodded in reply and went back to where he was before he got called up.

He glanced at Iruka instructing a child, most likely from a civilian family

'Why does he look at me like that, he looks happy teaching other children! Why does everyone look at me that way!'

'You are just a weapon'

'Right..I'm just some weapon...once out of use I'll get thrown away...right'

'..but I guess I'll have to be hokage before that happens, dattebayo!' His More optimistic side told himself.

"Alright everyone! We'll continue practicing, those who's already quite proficient can help with those struggling!" Iruka announced

'Tch, when I get back home I need to practice on that and not just chakra control and taijutsu..' Naruto noted to himself.

'Why can't I get this right! Damn it!' Naruto thought angrily as he kept messing up the shuriken throw, a certain pale eyed girl wanted to help but was too shy to do it.

"Hn, dobe" Naruto flinched and turned his head to his left "AH! D-don't scare me like that! And don't call me a dobe y-you, TEME!"

"You're doing it wrong, you need to lift your arm higher" The raven corrected "W-what do you mean!?" Naruto asked, confused.

"I said you're doing it wrong baka, are you also deaf?!" Sasuke exclaimed irritated.

"Well then show me how to do it the right way if I'm such a baka, you teme!" Naruto glared.

"Fine then!" Sasuke lifted one of his arms and tilted his other arm until it was in the correct stance "There! Now try and throw it!".

Naruto threw the shurikens getting a few bullseye "Hmph! T-thanks I guess..teme!"

"Whatever, usuratonkachi!" Sasuke went back to his original place.

"Grrr that teme!"
