(Dean POV)
I felt about in my bag to find my timetable. Charlie, Kevin and Jo stood next to me comparing their timetables.
"Hurry up Winchester!" Charlie teased. I pulled out the piece of paper, which sadly read that for the first two periods of the day I was in double English.
"Who the hell gives newbies double English on a Monday?!" I stated, clearly disgusted. English isn't exactly my forte. I'm more of a mathematical genius and artistic pleasure. The three amigos next to me laughed at my outburst before dragging me towards the English class.(Cas POV)
Shit, I completely forgot to lift my timetable this morning! Thanks Gabe, bloody rushing me!
I walked to the office and pulled my best charming smile at the grumpy looking woman behind the computer.
"Hi, my names Castiel Novak, and-" I started.
"That's the seventh one so far!" The woman hollered to her coworkers. "Forgot your timetable deary?" She asked. A small nod was all I could manage. "Castiel Novak. That is what you said your name was, didn't you?" Again another small nod was all I could muster. The woman kindly printed another copy of my schedule off before sending me on my way.
Double English. What kind of sick bastard does that? I thought while trying to find the class.
After wandering for about five minutes I finally found my class ten minutes late. Gingerly I knocked on the door before entering. The teacher, Miss C Oswald, understood my lateness and directed me towards a seat near the back of the class. I was sat behind a boy, sandy blonde hair, he looked familiar, like overly familiar. That's when it struck me. It was the boy with the vibrant green eyes from this morning.
I leaned forward in my seat just as Miss Oswald began the lesson properly. I sat back and knew I'd have to talk to him at the end of the lesson. Funny thing is I still hadn't caught his name yet.
I didn't focus much on what was being taught, I can read and write perfectly fine why do I need I English? Instead I spent the lesson focusing on the boy in front. Remembering every detail I could about him. Fifty five minutes of thinking about the most beautifully vibrant green eyes I had ever seen. The fourth bell of the day woke me from my trance and before I could gather my thoughts, Miss Oswald called for a break and the boy had disappeared to the other side of the classroom to talk to his friends.
I sat captured by my thoughts drumming the pencil on the table to a tune I couldn't quite piece together properly. Every few seconds I caught myself sneaking glances at the boy. After five minutes Miss Oswald called everyone back to their seats and I fell back into my routine from five minutes prior.
The period flew past and finally the fifth bell of the day rang, dismissing us for break. I have never been more thankful for a break that I could try to talk to the owner of those green eyes.(Dean POV)
We reached the English class quite quickly, turns out it's not far from our registration class. Subconsciously I sighed a sigh of relief as I noticed the blue eyed boy wasn't in this class. The teacher, Miss Oswald, split us up as Charlie couldn't stop laughing at Jo's protests against English. I was sat three rows from the back, Charlie was sat right in front of the teacher, Jo was sat up the very back corner and Kevin only a few seats diagonally in front of me. The class was already pretty full and only two seats remained. One directly behind me and one next to Charlie. Miss Oswald passed out our texts for this year and our notebooks.
A quiet knock on the door and in he entered. The mischievous blue eyed boy. He gave his apologise to Miss Oswald, who gave him his stuff and then directed him to the seat behind me. I quickly dropped my head and read the blurb of a very boring looking book. He walked past quickly and quietly slid into his seat.
Not even thirty seconds later I heard the the chair squeak as he leaned forward in it. I mentally begged for him to sit back and not even attempt to start a conversation with me. He obviously heard my silent prayer and he sat back as Miss Oswald began teaching.
The entire first period I could feel his stare on me. I couldn't wait to move, to go see the three amigos. Graciously Miss Oswald gave us a five minute break when the fourth bell rang. I sprang from my seat as we all congregated at Jo's desk. Every so often I caught the boy sneaking glances at me, I tried my best to ignore it. Sadly Miss Oswald called us back to our seats. I sat down and pretty quickly the boys stare was boring back into the back of my head again.
The fifth bell of the day rang dismissing us for break. I put my stuff into my bag and joined the three amigos at the door. I have never been more thankful for a break to get away from the blue eyed boy.
