He promised me we wouldn’t end like the others, he promised. Now I’m just like the others sad, heartbroken, hoping he might come back. But no he’s with the other girl who’s heart he’ll break soon enough.
25 May, Two years
Two stinking years of my life wasted. He didn’t love me and that made me crazy knowing that I love him more than he loved me.
He came to visit for the weekend since he lives two towns over. He came for the weekend and when he left he told me ‘We’re over’ just like that . Two simple words that can make a heart break in seconds.
From then on I was a walking zombie. Everyone tried to help me by going shopping, movie nights and even slushies. Nothing worked. Time is the only remedy for a broken heart they say, but it’s been two months already. Now most of you might think that I’m exaggerating but we were close, clearly not close enough since he did that.
Times change, people change sometimes we just have to live with that and find the best in everything and everyone.
My thoughts were broken by a cell phone ringing.
I picked it up and saw on caller ID Tyler (the ex)
“What do you want Tyler?” I say harshly oven the phone.
“Please hon come back I’m sorry. I was an idiot to let you go. I’m begging you Meg come back.” Tyler idiotically pleaded.
“Oh Tyler I’m touched of course I WON’T come back you asshole! Let me guess Alexa or was it Connie dumped you didn’t they and now you’re crawling back to me. Well no goodbye and leave me alone.” With that said I ended the call before he could reply. Take that idiot.
I guess fairytales should end sometime or another but most times it’s for the best because you need bad relationships to recognize a good one.
