Chapter 7

August 19th 1986

After a few minutes they arrived at secret spot.
The secret spot having a waterfall with a path way up it.
"That wasn't long."
"No it isn't."
"Anywho! What makes this place so secretive?"
"Follow." Tadashi walked over to a secret entrance into the cave.

Entering the cave, which was rather smaller than it seemed Kei yelled.
"WHAT."
"Huh?"
"THIS PLACE IS SO COOL! MAYBE SMALL..BUT STILL COOL AS FUCK."
"I guess." Tadashi went over towards one of the big rocks in the cave and sat on top of it.
"Why are we here again..?"
"I wanted to see it."
"So we can go, I can go?"
"No you cannot."
"You are so annoying."
"No you."
"We aren't doing this."
"Yes the fuck we are."
"No we aren't."
"Yes we are."
"Wait a damn minute, we just did it. FUCK YOU KEI."
"WELL FUCK YOU TOO."
"Kei, can I go back to school, yknow I have a reputation I need to keep up."
"Ughhhhh, fineeee. Go you lame ass."
"Thanks I guess." Tadashi got up and left the cave, going back to mcdonald's, and finally back to the school.

Sneaking back into the school knowing he had missed 2 periods he walked to lunch.
"Ayy Tadashi! Over here man!" Tadashi looked over to see Valentino waving him over to the table. Tadashi walked over seeing one seat open and taking it. Valentino looked over to Tadashi.
"Yo where we're you Tadashi?"
"Huh?"
Isaiah added on.
"Yeah dude we're like 20 minutes into lunch and you just came in, you also weren't in your last two periods. Are you skipping again?"
"..Oh...Yeah I was skipping again, I had to do something out of school so I kinda just snuck away."
"That makes sense." Isaiah said looking back to his lunch. Did they see me go with Kei? Fuck I didn't think of that. I'm pretty sure Isaiah is in my social studies class...I hope they didn't or i'm probably going to be teased about it for awhile.
"TADASHI." Tadashi looked over to Vincent confused.
"What Vincent." Vincent is a fourth year, I don't speak to him as much as I speak to the others but we still somewhat know each other. He is also dating my cousin.
"Have you see Mika?"
"I saw him in math but that's all, why?"
"He's in this lunch period, but isn't here. Thought i'd ask you since you guys are best friends."
"Yeah no I haven't see him."
"Oh oh! I saw him!" Gavin shouted.
"Where Gavin?" Vincent looked over to Gavin as Gavin started to speak. Gavin is a first year. We met him last year when we were at the park. We saw him playing basket ball by himself so we joined him, we all got to know him over time so he isn't that new to the table.
"He was in the gym on the like bridgey thingy just sitting alone up there. I don't know what he was doing but he didn't come down." Weird, I know what happened was weird but I didn't mind it. That definitely sounds gay what the fuck Tadashi?
"I wonder what's wrong with him." Vincent sounded a bit upset. Mika is Vincent's youngest brothers, brother, and he thinks of Mika as a little brother. It's sweet but it makes him worry about him a lot.
"I think he's just upset over something, he will get over it." As I said that I looked over to Vincent who seemed a bit less worried about the whole situation.
"Hey Tadashi, why don't you go looks for him?" Xavier finally deciding to say something.
"I agree with Xavier. He's your best friend, go look for him." Grayson added on. I didn't even notice Grayson was here. He is one of the newish ones because he had come to the school close to the end of it. He definitely seems a little scared of us still but that's probably because he gets teased by the guys since he's the shortest one out of all of us, even the first years are taller, and Grayson is almost 17.
"I don't even know where he is.."
"Doesn't matter go find him." Vincent looked at Tadashi with a 'Go fucker' look and so Tadashi, not wanting to reluctantly agreed.
"Fine I guess I will." Tadashi stood up leaving the lunch room to go find Mika.

Tadashi first thought of checking the gym since Gavin said that was the last place he has seen him. Tadashi arrived at the empty gym.
"Mika?" Tadashi shouted, entering the gym. Tadashi looked around the gym. He looked up towards the bridge walkway over the main gym area to see someone's back against the fence. Tadashi walked over to the stairs of the stage, going up them then walking over to the stairs and going up them.
"Ay Mika, you up here?" Tadashi walked over towards the place he saw the person against the fence.
"Mika?" Mika looked up towards Tadashi, then back away. Tadashi kelt down in front of Mika.
"Mikaaaa?"
"What."
"Why aren't you at lunchhhh?"
"Why are you asking." Mika looked over to Tadashi and they made eye contact. They stayed silent, locked eyes. As Tadashi waited for an answer

Mika broke the eye contact by looking down.
"I didn't feel like eating so I came here."
"Is that true? Or are you still guilty about yesterday?"
"Ugh..You can read right through me."
"Yeah I can." Tadashi sat down crisscrossed.
"Well I don't wanna see Vincent."
"Why?"
"What if he finds out?"
"He won't Mika, it was just us."
"But what if it wasn't just us? What if someone was watching us?"
"I highly doubt it. We aren't the popular ones so who would follow us?"
"I don't know Tadashi." Mika said in a slightly aggressive tone.
"Ay bro calm the fuck down."
"Sorry sorry.." Tadashi sighed looking at Mika. He hated when he saw Mika like this but these were one of the times he didn't know how to comfort him correctly.
"I hate seeing you like this yknow."
"I know.."
"And i've already said your good. Soooo what's the problem."
"I still feel guilty, I mean I know you aren't gay and yet I stilled kissed you."
"No i'm not gay, but I did say it was fine. Didn't I?"
"You did.."
"So could you not feel so guilty and put it behind us?" Mika looked up at Tadashi.
"But-" Tadashi cut him off.
"No Mika. Just forget it i'm literally staying your friend and saying it's not a big deal. So it's NOT A BIG DEAL."
"Okay okay fine..I'll forget it."
"Thank you, now can we go back to lunch?" Tadashi stood up putting his hand out.
"Yeah let's go." Mika grabbed Tadashi's hand as Tadashi pulled him up. They started to walk back to lunch joking as best friends again as if they never had the conversation.
