2. Compete with no one but your older self.

There will always be that one person out to get. While there also are others so ready to watch you crumble and they will do anything they can to get their desired outcomes. The best way to get rid of them is not by lowering yourself to their level but instead work harder, become better and beat them in your own game, don't join theirs.
