(PS: I Do realize I accidentally called Asta's Void magic Spacial magic. That's not his magic it was just a typo.)

"Do you two have history?" Elline asked the two, laced with jealousy. "Yeah, we were childhood friends, until she had to move kingdoms." Asta explained, not taking his eyes off his old friend, "How have you been?" He asked, blinking and looking away in embarrassment from realization. "Honestly, I was better off in Spade. No offense to you," Kate paused to hint at the Clover royals, "But the nobles here are a real pain in the ass. They're way more cocky and snottier then in Spade."  Asta flinched a little at the mention of Spade, "There's a long story behind how and why I'm here. But, long story short you made the right choice." Kate looked confused, then a look of horror exploded on her face, "Oh my, so they did attack." Yami sucked his teeth, "All right you two, we gotta get back to Julius or he'll flip." He pulled out his broom, "Lucky for you, it ain't that far."

"I still can't believe how different Clover is from Spade." Asta said while walking into the base. "It took me a while before Clover felt like home. But, you'll get used to it." Kate said. The two talked and walked together. "It's like they're in their own world." Elline complained. "I've notice you've grown quite fond of Sir Asta." William told the Kira. Before she could say anything, "I can't shake off that Asta isn't telling us who he really, fully, is. And that stunt he pulled at the exams is still creeping me out." Yami said. Elline shot him a look, "He's a good person, why can't you see that?" She walked up to the couple ahead and began to talk with them. A sigh came from William, "What do you mean?" "I mean that his ki is familiar, but I can't tell from where. It's like I was close to him." Yami explained. William put and hand on his shoulder, "You'll find out soon enough." And with that, Yami was left behind as the rest went up ahead. "I'm keeping an eye on you."

TIMESKIP

A week past in the Grey Deer. Asta found out that his opponent from before, Natch, was in the same squad along with his brother, Morgen. But, more importantly it was time for his first mission. It had consisted of him, Elline, Kate, and the Faust brothers. The five were standing in front of their captain. "Now, since it is each of your's first mission, you will have a superior with you." Julius explained. He snapped his finger and someone walked through the door behind him. "This Domiant Code, senior magic knight and former thief." A woman with tan, almost orange, hair stepped in front of the group and beside the captain. She wore black pants, a white tunic under a black open long-sleeve, topped with the Grey Deer robe. "I will be your superior for your first mission and many to come. I don't expect much now, but as time goes on you all better be perfect knights." She said with a glare. The group sweat-dropped and nodded with fear. "Ahem," Julius cleared his throat, gaining the attention of others, "The mission is a simple dungeon on the border of Clover and Diamond. It just recently opened so we expect there to be enemy mages. Stay safe and bring back any treasures worth modern value." They all nodded, "Hai!" then the group left.

"I've been to a few dungeons before, but they were usual pretty safe." Asta said while walking through a spacial portal. It closed behind him as the group started to walk towards a cave. Natch glared at the prince, "Brat, bragging won't help you suck up to anyone." He thought. Morgen rolled his eyes and nudged his brother, who gave an eye-roll in return. "Well like captain said, this is a perfect place for enemy mages." Elline said. "I can't wait!" Kate exclaimed with excitement. "She's just like Asta." The Kira thought. They continued and made their way deeper in the dark tunnel.  Domiant took a small bag and reached inside. She pulled out a lamp that was bigger than the bag itself, but the juniors didn't question it. Kate ended up clinging to Asta in fear. "We're here." The senior announced. She stopped at a dead-end, lifted her leg, and surprisingly, kicked it down. Behind it was a room with rivers flowing from top to bottom, somehow not crashing down. "The mana is so dense here, you could cut it with a knife." Morgen said in slight awe. "Julius was right." Domiant said. She pulled out another item from her bag and opened it. The item showed a map with a pulse flowing through a radius. Dots in groups, with different amounts in each, flowed near them. "This place is already full of enemy mages." She finished. "From what I can tell, there's only a few strong one's." Natch said with a bored tone. "What if they're just guards and the weak ones are scavenger mages." Kate question to herself. "That is a possibility." Morgen said. "What ever it is be on guard." Asta almost yelled, while puling out his grimoire. "The dwarf is right," Domiant began, "Hey!" Asta yelled, slightly offended. "Asta, is right. Be on your toes or else we'll be dead." Domaint said, in annoyance, "Follow me." They all began to walk behind their senior.
