She saw him walking in the parking lot. She saw him in a random place. Her lover, whom she thought died in the accident 9 years ago, was alive and walking right in front of her. Passing by her.
Right, he passed by her, but didn't stop when he saw her. They locked eyes, and he looked at her like she was a stranger to him.
And maybe she was.
Amnesia.... He never recalled any of his memories
He had forgotten about her, and never remembered her. He went and created memories with someone else. Decided to grow old with someone else. Because her former fiancee was already married to another woman, hugging their child.
A mere moment and Hailey understood.
She was never going to get Julius back.
