"Pasalamat ka nga binibigyan pa kita ng atensyon."
She scoffed, feeling deeply offended. She never expected this man to be this arrogant.
"I don't think you know your place in this situation right now, Damian," she said. She crossed her arms.
"I'm the one in control here. You may think that I'm grateful that you give me attention but you know what? I'm the one who let you give me attention," she said. "Because I thought what you felt for me was real. And now look at you, already turning your back on me and showing me your true intentions."
Hindi nakapag salita si Damian. She took a step forward towards him.
"That's right, Damian," she said. "If I never replied to you, you wouldn't be here with me in the first place. If I never agreed to meet with you, we would've never be in this situation. You wouldn't be begging me to date you, if I didn't entertain you in the first place. Naiintindihan mo na ba yung sitwasyon mo? Hindi ikaw ang masusunod dito. Kung sa ganitong usapan lang... hindi ba't ikaw ang mas maraming demand sa akin? Tapos sasabihin mo ako ang maraming demand? Bakit? Kasalanan bang wala akong tiwala sayo dahil sa mga naririnig ko tungkol sayo?
"Damian the Playboy," she said. She turned to look at him in the eyes. "I'm not stupid. I know you wouldn't just settle down that quick and with someone like me."
She stepped closer to Damian, "You do not control me, and I will never lower my guard nor my standards nor my freaking pride just for the likes of you— A misogynistic little boy who thinks looks are everything."
She stepped back, suddenly becoming aware of the people surrounding them. Hindi naman siya ang may pakana nito— Si Damian. He thought he could humiliate her and break her heart in public after making her believe that he was actually in love with her.
She knew this would happen. No way that a boy like Damian would even notice someone like her. His friends doesn't like her for goodness' sake.
"Ano," she said, crossing her arms and raising her eyebrow at him. "May sasabihin ka pa ba or are you just wasting my time?"
When Damian didn't answer, his face tomato red, she scoffed, rolling her eyes and flipping her hair before walking away.
"A waste of time," she said loudly. "That's what you are, Mr. Damian Marquez."
