She looked at him as he stands by the door. He was leaving her. Her boyfriend of five years was leaving her, yet she was neither sad nor scared. No tears built up in her eyes, threatening to fall. No anger making her blood boil.
She felt nothing.
For she saw this coming.
"You want to leave? Go. People in my life always leave, no matter how hard I try. They always leave no matter what. I did everything for you. And you call me pathetic? Na hanggang ganito na lang ako? Palaging naghahanap ng taong magmamahal sa kanya?" she scoffed.
"Tell me something I don't already know. I was like this before I met you. I was already broken before you broke me. I'm not enough for anyone, and clearly not even to you. So no matter what you say, or do, you can never break a soul that's already broken."
