You're the roses I stop to smell
The shoulder on which many tears fell
The midnight kisses
And the moonlight walks
The sky to which I scream my secrets
And the stars that never talk
The one I can trust to hold my hand
And walk with me down this road
The one who makes me realize
Though we're lonely we're never alone
The one that can protect me against any force
And yet crush me so effortlessly
The one I trust with all my heart
To see the real true me
The love that we feel but never say
The oceans song the seas spray
The words that swim through my veins
And the paper scrolled up in my brain
The one who thinks I'm most beautiful without makeup on
The one who knows what I need versus what I want
The one.
